    FUJI SPEEDWAY

Fuji Speedway is a motorsport race track standing in the eastern foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Originally conceived as an American-style superspeedway, it was completed as a road course and opened in January 1966.

In 1976, Fuji Speedway hosted the first-ever Formula One race in Japan. In the 1980s, the track was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. For decades, Fuji Speedway was owned by Mitsubishi Estate, until it was acquired by Toyota Motor in 2000. The circuit hosted the Formula One 2007 Japanese Grand Prix after an absence of nearly 30 years, replacing the Suzuka Circuit owned by Honda. After Fuji Speedway hosted the 2008 race, the Japanese Grand Prix returned to Suzuka for races from 2009 onward. The Super GT Fuji 500 km race is held at the racetrack on Golden Week.

Fuji Speedway has one of the longest straights in motorsport, at 1.475 km (0.917 mi) in length. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license at least until April 2026.

Guys, I just relized the race time crossing the world cup final exactly. I believe quite some of racers will drop the race off to watch it. If any possibilaty to delay a day or week or may be open a poll to find out how racers do/want?

Hello everyone, I agree with Tanner as a French person wanting to see his team in Final :D. I think maybe advancing the race by around 2 hours (start at 17h00 instead of 19h20) could be advantageous for a lot of us.

Personally, I've been away for quite a while, but I'm planning to be much more active again from now on.
To be honest, I'm not a football fan at all, so the World Cup final doesn't really matter to me. Motorsport is what I'm truly passionate about, and I'm really looking forward to this race.
I'm also happy to see that we're racing the Porsche Cup this time. I enjoy driving modern cars in rFactor 2, and since the league often runs historic series, this event is especially exciting for me.
I hope to be much more active with you all again in the future, and I'm looking forward to many more great races together.
For that reason, my personal opinion is that the race should stay as scheduled. Of course, I completely respect that others may feel differently because of the World Cup final.

Any progression/considering on time/date of the racing? Silence means no change? At least please responsible admins say/comment something, we act up to the decision ( resign the race and stop practicing ).

Sorry about your conflict . The race & broadcast times will remain as they are; there are lots of things behind the scenes that are going on as well..
We will miss you & hope your team does well!
I always record these kinds of sports events so I can watch them when I'm able, mostly so I can FF through all the commercials lol

Passwords are shown on every race page i.e. for this race it is https://simracingonline.co.uk/racing/eventinfo/2490
The race pwd will only show for registered entries after it is set, usually a couple of hours before the Qualifying starts.

    Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I was really looking forward to today's go-kart race. I was online at 7:00 PM and tried for quite a while to join, but I just can't find the server, so I can't get in.
I've been trying the whole time, but no luck. It's a real shame because I was excited to race with you all.
Anyway, I hope you all have an awesome race, have fun, and good luck! Hopefully I'll be able to join you next time.
