I had the same issue when testing. So I uninstalled the car/track mods, joined the server and let it provide the mods. It then worked OK.
setup for anyone that did not receive it on the server> https://limewire.com/d/tnwgT#jBP8MgeNzv Will obviously need adjusting for the next race but should serve as a good base if you can hang on to the rear, reduce front wing if too much oversteer in high speed or go softer on rear anti roll bar if too oversteery in slow speed. Brake balance may also need to be slightly forward to 54 and cambers will need to be altered for next race depending on which tyres will wear more. Hope it helps.
Sorry guys, but I can't race. My CLS DD isn't working in rFactor 2. Whenever I enter the pits, it loses all its settings and the wheel locks up; it only starts working again if I restart Windows.
Maybe try to ensure your wheel and base firmware is up to date rui, I have the DD1 and never had that issue, or verify integrity of rf2 game files in steam or even do full reinstall of rf2 if your config is messed up.
Grats to the winner! I guess I had to test much more to have more pace. I was the slowest on grid, probably the only one with High downforce and thing got even worse when I started having vibrations on the straights and my max speed was around 261 kmh. I had a great chase with Michael LaBelle though. He decided not to change tires, and at the end I was pushing hard to catch him and finished just 3 seconds behind in P9. My full stream featuring the whole race: www.twitch.tv/videos/2829629286 It contains another race - GT Legends online with the German community Altbierbude. I was part of the battle for P1, we had a clean 3-way battle and at one point I started working together with P1 - I gave him bumps, he gave me slipstream. But at the end there was going to be just 1 winner. I highly recommend this race as well.
Very odd and like Nick, not something I've heard of or experienced before. Hope you find a solution Rui.
Hey Ken! I completely forgot we had that collision. Sorry about that—I couldn't avoid you. I hope your car wasn't too badly damaged. Mine wasn't too bad, fortunately. See you next time!
