One thing, in quali you were discussing energy levels and fuel tank capacity. If I am not mistaken, you cannot say from the energy level (percentage) how much fuel a car carries. Lars e.g. said, that he has it always at 100% but thas reduce the tank capacity (fuel ratio) for quali. I do not reduce the capacity for Q, I reduce the energy level. So in that scenario we both could have carried the exact some amount of fuel. (Correct me if I am wrong)

To the race, well done top three, all of them in a class of there own congrats. For this race was way better than the last one, also because the quali and the start were better. I was determined to keep my position and that worked. Nothing to complain this time.
After that Julien and I had sort of a battle, not really wheel to wheel, but we did sort of yo-yoing. My overcut did not really work, I overestimated how mucht time you can save by saving fuel. I also made too many mistakes into turn one and the last one, to actually launch an attack. But yeah, maybe next time - enjoyed that one. Hope those guys who were forced to miss this one (game crashes or holidays) can participate in the next one. See you there.

 

Grats Gaetan and the podium, bit of a manic lap 1, loads of contact. Eventually recovered a little, I tried an over eager overtake into and coming out of Ascari, spun myself out on the exit, pitted for damage, ended up a lap down.

Hopeful for a cleaner race next time out.

My computer crashed in qualifying but managed to make the start of race, race was good but me and westy keep having contact neither us want to back down was fun race though, apologies if my overtakes were a bit dodgy I was on a bit of the mission to catch up, hoping to have a overall better race at spa

 

Yeah.... VE is confusing... we can only go from what the UI shows us. Something about the ratio that will burn fuel and NRG at different rates or something. We can only see the total VE as a percentage, nothing else.

I suspect I out-did myself in qualifying with a new PB, but the race was not so good. It took me ages to get back to 51's and couldn't hold the pace consistently enough, which meant I was doomed to fall back. Tyre wear was good and the car stayed pretty balanced, so I didn't need to change them at the stop. Maybe put in slightly too much fuel, but I really don't think that would have made a difference in the end. This is a skill issue on my part I guess

Overall, I'm very happy with a top 10, some good racing action in there. Onwards to Spa!
