    Hi guys,

I tried to connect to the server, but I got a 'Package not available' message. Anywone knows where that comes from?

Also, as I'm here I'll ask it: I've been absent from rF2 for a long time and it seems that TrackMap works no more (or at least I can't make it work) so anyone knows another similar plugin? Or a reduced one, as I only need to keep an eye on fuel consumption (and maybe tires)

Package not available means you haven't got the car mod/s or the track mod (which are defined by the SRO server configuration) installed in your rF2. Re-check you have got the required files by looking on the Cars and Track tab on the race page https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/racing/eventinfo/445

Trackmap does not work with DX11. There is another HUD overlay in the STEAM Workshop that is popular https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1243928467&searchtext=SHQM

    Hi Alberto!
Good to see you back in action! :):)

Btw, love this kind of tracks. I know maybe I.m the only one, but I.m tired of tracks like Spa and Monza, too many miles on them...:D:D

Well, we were just a few but times were very close in each category, so Q and R were quite exciting :)

I'm not a fan of this modern tracks, so wide with big run-off areas and looong blind corners, definitely not too fond of that, but I have to say I really enjoyed this track, it has a nice flow and personality. Even though it was a 2 min lap, I never felt bored or just wishing to end the lap. Very interesting.

Didn't expect como out on pole, but great!

During practice I saw I could make most of the race almost without refueling. I doubted I could go all race long with just one set of tires. I knew I could use them for an hour, but from there? It was hard to say with just 10-15 laps stints, but the tests were OK, so my strategy for the race was: save as much fuel as possible during pace lap to make sure I could reach the end, and treat tires with extreme care.

During the start Toni felt a bit behind me and Xavi passed him, which was great for me as I could open a small gap hoping they'd fight each other for some laps, torturing their tires a bit while I could just drive my pace. Eventually Toni reached P2 and came close to me. I made one small mistake going a bit wide on the right hairpin after the long straight but I could manage to keep the lead. After that he was close to me but I could stabilize the gap.

Before the middle point of the race, he stopped and I kept going on, driving as soft as possible. When I reached the 1 hour mark, I checked that my lap times were still quite good and my FL was still at 50%, so I decided to go all in and keep the car on track. Fuel level was tight but enough so I didn't have to worry much about it.

Il was about 22 seconds ahead of Xavi and him, as they were fighting again. When Toni passed, I calculated that I could loose around 2 secs per lap, but in reality he was only about 1 sec faster, and when he was 11 secs behind me, the time gap was stabilized again and I realized I had him in check.

However there was still the tire issue, the felt 'good enough' (about 3 seconds off my best pace, but at least they were driveable), but would they last to the end? my fronts were starting to lock a bit under hard braking, but a bit of rear brakes and I could manage it.

In the end, my FL was at 20%, just very close to the cliff where I would have lost a handful of seconds each corner (that if I could turn at all) but definitely it was a fun race!

Congrats to all who made it, good driving all, very nice race!

No practice makes you force the car around the corners and its bad for your tyres.
Consumed 2 sets of fronts lol.

Anyhow was fun to drive and at second stint found really good pace doing 2.00.xxx laps.
