It's getting pretty close in the top 3.
90 minutes of Nordschleife. Epic stuff !! That will be intense.

90 ? Wait I thought these were 60 min races? server s set up for 60 .do i need to change it ?

OK server is set for 90 min race 20 min Q ..I also up'd the grip to start at 98% as it will take to long to do all the laps necessary to get it from standard 96% up to optimum ...

& JFYI in AC the math they use for the grip is kind of wacky .. to enplane it in short always remember 90% = 0 or ice/dirty/green anything less than 90 and its very strange the way the cars slide around lol .
the 96% we use as a standard starting point is just over medium grip & it increases by 1 every 30 laps or so..
If you have 10 drivers on track every 3rd lap grip will increase by 1 , at nords this is a long process ! So we start at 98 !

 

Btw, I believe Sandor and Zoltan have left SRO eventhough PLP is removed. They are not responding to my mail for the Group C series for a while now.

 

I don't think Nick will be racing either ..

 

Zoltan was made aware that PLP was being withdrawn from use at SRO, so if he decided to still throw his Teddy out of the pram then it's his choice. PLP is widely used elsewhere in the sim racing community, so just because he doesn't personally like it because it gives him penalties as a result of track cutting the same as anybody else would get, might cause him problems elsewhere too.
SRO is bigger than any two irrational members.

Ken, how are we going to do the start? Because you can't cut onto the start/finish straight on the formationlap.

Are we going to do a full formationlap of the whole track (hope not)
or are we going to do a standing start?

Very sorry to hear about your Father Sandor.

 

Yes it's not possible to go back around onto the start/finish straight like we could in rF/rF2, so that means in Qual we will need to do a full lap before the timing starts. The Qual session is 20 mins and we will allow ESC on track to be used for this race.

For the start we will do what we normally do and on the green light we will follow the pole leader in single file formation until entering the Nordschleiffe old section at the left turn next to the final turn on the GP track.
