    What kind of tests are you looking at doing Karl?

    Very happy to see it was decided to use the S397 version of Sebring. I have it as does my friend who is likely to join us for the series. Should be a fun race!

    We do have a practice server running the s397 endurance pack and sebring.

    Server name: sim racing online sebring
    There is no password.

    Yeah, that's only logical to get the best version that's on offer. Even if it is DLC. I think it's well worth it. Hope your friend joins, the more the better :)

    Good to know! I have practicing to do today for a race I have tonight at a track I am not at all framiliar with. Might jump in the Sebring room another day this week though.


    I hope he does too. I sent him the schedule and race details last night and he sounded very interested. John, I left a couple questions for you in my introduction thread yesterday since you had mentioned to bring up any I have.

    This event will have a day / night transition.

    Time acceleration will be 6 x. We will start 15:00 PM and end on 24:00 PM

    Server will be up on Thursday.

    Day to night transition:
    - Accelarated time by x 6 and start at 15:00 hours in game, then it would end at 24:00 hours in game.
    - Practise session same settings
    - qual in daylight
    - warmup in daylight
    - all sesions dry

    I missed the updates on this one, great that we are using the S397 version, it is a lovely piece of work.

    For those that haven't driven on it much though. My PC is a good spec but it suffers slightly with this track so some of you will have to peg the detail back to medium levels maybe.

    I think it's mainly the amount of trackside detail, there are just dozens of models, spectators, etc. The VLM version is no way near as detailed from that point of view (although it's still a great track mod).

    Looking forward to it :)

    I'm really starting to like the Oreca now, any chance of a Petit Le Mans round as an extra? ;)

    There are no plans for an extra round. Would mean a lot of organizing with broadcasters and such.

    Hey John,so I just saw the time for the race.I guess is because daylight savings there and here too,now is 2 hours late then before in my time...And it's too late for a change now I suposed?Don't know if I gonna make it.A shame, because I really like Sebring.

    Just to be clear ... the start of the race is the same as always: 20:00 GMT. The start time 15:00 hours is the in-game start time :)

    Guys, would there be any issue with anyone if I race a different car than the BMW. I only ask because I am running the Porsche in two other series which both happen to running at Sebring at this time, one last weekend and a 12 hour on this coming Sat. It will be alot for me to also prepare in the BMW for Sunday. I know I will be a little slower, the BMW is really good here and I would be willing to take less points (1/2 or none) for my personal score but it will be easier on preparation.
