OK... I have to admit... I'm pretty darn pleased with this one. It helped to be able to start with the team logo, so I could sample the colors and use them in the livery. There are a handful of little artistic Easter eggs in this design. This is also the first one I've done that's asymmetric.

Unpack the archive to `04_MILLIKEN_SRO` in the car's skins folder. The archive also includes all the various GIMP assets.

Finally got around to this. Second verse slightly tweaked from the first. Cleaned up some of the striping, made some of it fancier, made the wheel hubs blue because why not, gave it a proper "blurred wheel" source, added a couple more decals, swapped a couple of big sponsor banners with SRO banners to match the other ones I've posted for Series 3. If unpacked into your skins directory then the archive won't replace my skin from last season, because I'm a hoarder. Yes, I kept my rookie number and "learner" warning labels.

I didn't include the GIMP source files in this archive, but if anyone wants to peek behind the curtain — particularly for the custom wheels — I'd be happy to give pointers. The magic behind the mystery is the "Radial Motion Blur" filter, carefully centered on the spinny bits.

TBH, I can't pick a favorite. Karl's makes the logo nice and big and fills the banner better. I had a hell of a time getting the logo wrapped decently in GIMP. Either one works; anyone may feel free to grab mine out of one of my skins, or use Karl's.

Hehehe wow i had to fight it in photoshop to get it right, so i fully understand how you battled in gimp, i found gimp too restrictive in some aspects, and super easy in other aspects.

For me it doesn't matter which one is going to be used. But I feel we should all use the same one. So lets vote on it Or let the admins decide.
You know it would be nice if all cars in the series would sport the banner

Edit, now I see why Karls might be "better".

 

Well its easy for everyone to use the same.
We can copy the original skins of those that are "borrowed", edit a few files to personalise and then release that in the skin pack.

its a bit of extra work, but it looks awesome in the Group C races were we all have the same banners and Racing number boxes..

i can assist.
