    Hard to say. I'm told by the admin setting up the server the rain is rain on the server, and can
    Hard to say. I'm told by the admin setting up the server that "rain is rain" on the serversettings and can not be differentiated.
    So I quess it will be a surprise to all of us how much will fall. Exciting stuff!!

    We should be doing this in Project Cars 2 next time. As I remember watching WEC at Silverstone practise in snow in 2017...lol

    Please no PC2 racing. After getting acquainted with rF2 I cannot come to grips with PC2 anymore. The entire game just feels so "off" in terms of physics and control.

    I guess that's happens when you go from simcade to an actual sim lol.

    Well, I just tried to jump in the server and encountered an issue. After putting in the password it downloaded the file properly as usual, but would not progress to the car select screen. If I hit the race button it pops up with a progress bar very quickly like it is trying to download the file again. I removed the file from my packages folder and tried again but to no avail it still does the same thing.

    Edit: I restarted my PC, deleted the file again and it worked. Rather strange....

    In fairness I race on lots of sims. I work long hours and find very little time for practice so in some ways PC2 is ideal for someone like me. I can do well with little practice purely because of it's simcade like nature. RF2 tends to reward people who spend time doing lots of practice and getting the setup spot on.

    PC2 loses in physics but makes it up in visual appeal for me, and racing at sunset in a Porsche 917 at classic Le Mans is a real feast for the eyes, in the rain it's just great fun.

    However as you say RF2 has some of the best physics of any sim and in that regard it walks all over the likes of PC2.

    Anyway, hopefully I'll be on the server tonight to do some laps, my fear at the moment is I'll be having to join just before qualifying tomorrow and I want to do at least twenty laps and get a decent setup ready :)

    @Andrew Harper I do agree. Just more of a personal gripe I now have with PC2 lol. Hell, I used to absolutely love it amd have spent well over 1000 hrs between PC1/2 and did enjoy myself. It just feels so off now and I can't seem to get a handle on any car I try drive.

    Event note:

    If you leave the server during the qualifying session, you will not be able to get back in until the warm-up session.
    This is to prevent people going in and out the server during qualy, which causes stuttering for drivers on track.

    Qualification rules;

    Total Qualy time; 25 minutes =
    First P2's alone; 10 minutes
    5 minutes pauze
    Second GTE's alone; 10 minutes
    5 minutes warmup
    20.30 BST Race

    * On exactly the 10 minutes mark, I will call the end of the P2 qualy in the chatbox. P2's can finish the lap they are on. Crossing the finishline they press Esc. and return to Pitbox.
    * 5 minutes pauze (GTE can form up in the pitlane);
    * On exactly the 15 minutes mark, GTE's go out on my call in the chatbox, untill qualy runs out after 25 minutes.
    * 5 minutes warmup
    * 20.30 BST start of the race.

    You can not press Esc. during your Qual session and go back out again. You have to drive your car into the pits first.
    If you ignore this rule, you will get a drive-through penalty in the next race.

    That is because you are a red light (waiting list) on the GTE list. Everybody that is green is comfirmed. That has to do with the maximum gridslots for the race: 13 P2 and 19 GTE.
    If 1 greenlight in class unregisters, you move up 1 place.
    There is 1 P2 slot free, as the max. signup is 13.
