I didn't have any major problems, there is a search box when you click on the ONLINE button. The server has SRO in the description. Make sure you have all the pack including the track. Initially I was missing one car and the game wouldn't let me join the server.
Did everybody get the car/skin they selected on the server? The Ferrari 550 should have 60 kilo's weight ballast The Saleen S7 should have 20 kilo's weight ballast
Sorry my friend I was busy trying to finish up other things today. Many thanks for the advice I will certainly try what you say. Yep it's set at 900 degrees at the moment. However the car is not "on the nose" like I would like, I'm understeering straight off most of the corners, so I may try quickening up the rack and see what happens. At the moment I'm taking most corners in 1st or 2nd gear which is frankly crazy. I think some of it as well is what you tend to like racing on. I get on well with Raceroom, Project Cars 2 is currently the only sim I've won online with. RF2 I enjoy but more often than not I tend to finish last or almost last. Assetto Corsa for some reason is a bit of a mystery to me, the floaty feeling in the steering and the dead brakes I'm suffering from make it very difficult for me to push for some reason. However I'm very grateful for the advice and I will give it a try
I still need more testing, but since I've got a green light, I want the Saleen #27, which is a bit C9-ish, as both struggle with the rear tyres. Nevertheless, I felt good in this car.

Don't forget that you have to blip the throttle on downshifts with these cars. It's not a must, but it helps the drivebillity on downshifts and doesn't "kick" the car forward downshifting.
I logged in for a bit last night. Had had a few beers so I wasn't the most consistent, but I was on... Do I need to do anything else? Chose my car, but couldn't choose skin. My Steam username is Toast...
Hmm i dont see you , your in game name MUST match your sro member name so it should be Stef Williams in AC for the results software to work .. if that is your ingame name already i dont have a recot of you on the server yet ..
I guess I haven't set my AC name then... Will have another go tonight. Presumably you set AC name in the Profile section? Or is it a config file? PS. Also, I'm still waiting for my password reset for the site - is it broken?
OK I found Toast ..lol & got your GUID however you cannot race with that name , you assigned to your car now as Stef Williams (your guid is always the same) so now do you know how to change your name in AC ? if you hover over your name in the UI under profile you will see a tiny "edit" button appear ,click it > change your name , save = done

yes... have asked for reset email about 4 times and nothing. Also sent mail to support email, and no reply...
yup, even emptied the folder, and tried again... Also searched entire inbox for simracingonline or similar.... nowt
