Just did a few laps on this track with the Lister Storm. Man, you just can't stop driving. What a great track to drive these cars on! The sound of the screaming engines, attacking the corners, jumping on the throttle on exit. Just a blast!

I think the default laptime will be 2.06.xxx on racesetup with med tires. The fast guys will be doing 2.05.xxx or 2.04.xxx high with full tanks.
Watch out for the Saleen's and Ferrari's 550 here :D

I have not had the chance to drive the Snake on this track yet, but i am looking forward to it. This race i think is going to be a whole new experience for the most of the field. Because Buddh International was not a circuit everyone would go and drive daily and it was difficult to get to know the drivers. However, i believe most of us are more familiar with Road America and have more experience there. So i am expecting the majority of the drivers to be faster!

Let's see what the November 4th has in store for all of us :D

Hello everyone! I'm thinking on doing a live stream on YouTube this Thrusday showcasing the RSS GT1 cars and the Road America track (and some other bits that people requested on our last broadcast) and i want to know who would be interested in participating with me on voice chat and in the track.
If we get a good feedback on my idea, this could become a thing for every series we broadcast...
    Best regards,
    Matheus.

    I'm fine with that:
Will you setup a server for it?
    How late?
    How long?

Great Idea , Another Idea might be to have interviews after the races for top3 or maybe just the winner ? /also this can be done on a Thursday showcasing the next event while reviewing the last ..
    SRO YouTube TV !

I think people don't know it's there. You have to promote it before the race.

One more thing (off topic I know ) I like the idea of the Thursday SRO TV show (or what ever day) I was thinking This could also be used to promote & review other sro events as well . anyway I do like your idea !

Ok now the race at RA ! this will be a cracking race ..can't wait !

It's on the works, thanks for letting me use the server... We can do that for both RF2 and Assetto simulators on the Thursdays at 20:30pm BST, does that sound good? What else can we add in?
Also, sorry for my late reply, i'm racing today on U.R.R. LMP3 and been practicing all week xD

    Great! More people the better!

    Ya sounds good ..
The rf2 servers are up at least 3 days before each event so timing will be important , The AC server #2 (that's what this series is on ) is up 24/7 the entire week before each event and swaps out with the AC SEAT 3 on opposite weekends ..
it be like: SRO Racing News !
It should cover all the events of the week , recent winners, highlight's ….big crashes ! along with the review of the last broadcast including Driver of the week , biggest mover .. fastest laps .. ectt
A little history for Round 2 at RA .. ..
    History - Road America
Open road sports car races held in 1950 through 1952 were conceived and operated by the members of the Chicago Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).
At the time, Elkhart Lake was at a low point in its economic history and Jim Johnson, President of the Elkhart Lake Bank, felt that the races would bring a new energy to the area. Joined by Fire Chief Ray Kramer and Resort owner Ollie Siebken Moeller, a strong community effort was mounted that resulted in dozens of volunteers coming forward to help organize the races. Governor Walter Kohler, who had a summer home on Elkhart Lake, helped pave the way.
The 1950, race was held on the 3.35-mile circuit north of the lake. The event was very successful with an estimated 5,000 spectators in attendance.

The 1952 races were held over the course of two days, Saturday and Sunday. There were a total of 238 cars entered in the three races, a far cry from the 33 cars raced in 1950. Attendance was estimated to exceed 100,000.

Did a league before with these and like John says, this track is super duper awesome with these babies.

However I think we should look out for the Viper too... that thing is fast on tracks like this in the right hands, in my previous experiences the Saleen lacks a little top end and braking to be truely competetive here, and it also a fuel hog deluxe, this was however not with the latest update applied, things might be different now.

Looking forward to next week sunday :)

I would like to ask: Does the server run an Stracker so I can check out laptimes during the week?

  19. Rob Milliken

Yes all the SRO servers have stracker , check the live timing tab on the top menu bar !
