Judging by the video, the Viper should be pretty strong here.

You should try to get into the 1.21.xxx on racesetup. That would be a good top 10 time.

Practise and develop your racesetup. Being on the top on the practise server with a qual lap looks very pretty but doesn't mean anything when the lights go green and you have no balance with 100 liters of fuel and race tires.

I think all the front engine cars will be strong here. I love this track, but, the weight in the rear on the lambo feels atrocious if u hit the curb abit wrong, going to go for a very safe setup this time.

Yeah, some cars are better for certain tracks and others arn't. I don't think the Lister is right for this track to be in the top 3, but I will fight like a lion!!

I have never liked that car, although, in gtr2 it was my favorite. With this pack it feels like a box on wheels with massive understeer and no power at all.... and then there is that A pillar that is constantly in the way (am on single big screen).

Im sure you can make the podium happen John, always so consistent which is gonna count bigtime on this track, when it bites at you, it bites to kill :D.

ps: Looking forward to that next series, tried them too on the same track as your video, its awesome!

That would be the AC F1 1967.
Feel so too. On the trackside camera it doesn't look much, but you know, if your driving, it's soooo intens !!!

You mean the GPL mod v2 ?

I had a go with a few cars and it's nice. In VR some are not there yet. Some parts are textured instead of being modeled for instance. Can't remember which one but the steering wheel goes through the driver model's legs. Some have the left rear view mirror show the same as the right one. In VR these things stick out way more of course. And they are 2 seconds slower than AC's F1 '67 versions for some reason..

If you didn't mean the GPL mod but the Kunos cars alone .. the above does not apply.

I did mean the GPL mod. I drive with a monitor, so I don't notice that so much.

The Cooper is fine in VR I think. There are others I should try.

Wow that Saleen is fast and easy to drive. I can drive 3 tenths faster Saleen with default setup (full tank) than Ferrari 550 with well made setup (full tank). I think little bit adjusting setup made that about second faster.

True Henri, also from my tests, Saleen it's the faster car at any tracks. It has a better tires consumption, and it's extremely easy to drive, definitely the winning car in this champ. IMO.

Its balanced with 30-35kg, tho the braking is a bit adventurous with 35.

With the earlier packs, it used alot more fuel then others.. so this balanced it abit more, but it doesnt seem like that anymore.

I have big troubles with the uphill corner coming out of the esses, i seem to be messing it up almost completely in every 5 laps or so... either i run the curb on the left which unsettles the car forcing into oversteer and total loss of control of the car, or i run wide out on to the bumps placed at the exit of the corner which i do not even want to mention what happens after that... :D (Once i lost my engine entirely)
I will try to work on a setup that would let me ride that curb on the left better...
Other than that i am content with the flow of it, this will be my first ever racing experience on this track!

slow and safe entry...focus on exit which is uphill so it really underlines it.

That corner is a bitch for all the cars. U can add front anti roll bar if it keeps sliding out, however this will compromise setup for other corners. What also helped for me is putting a low rear bump on the dampers.

There is abit a problem with the outside curbs as u say, touch them wrong and the engine dies.

The lambo has serious issues with the curbs here. The back end is like a mega pendulum on some and it kills the car instantly :D
