I guess one of them is here. Tuesday evening is not ideal for me. But I will try, maybe I will miss race one from time to time or use it as a practise session ;)

    Hi Guys,
I'm in....just for the sake of getting into Philipps face on track...(not really):D. Its a great car to drive and I'm sure this series will be just as good and entertaining as the USF2000 was.

    Regards,
    Bret

Really disappointed with the outcome of both races. I was competitive enough for podiums, and end up with really bad finishes.

Race 1 was fighting hard for 2nd with Mazurek close to the end, but we had a incident and I spun. Its fine, a case of 2 drivers going too hard for a position. The problem was after that, because to turn back to the track I had to manouvre, and got a Stop&Go penalty for cut the track. That was utterly unfair. I dont know if Admins have the power to reinstate a driver his final position, because race was close to the end and I managed to finish it without going to the pits. Of course, I´ve got the time penalty. I finished 6th, but in the end, dropped back with the added time. Major bummer. If not possible, its ok. @Ken Jagger.

Race 2, I dont know whats up with those guys from Poland, but the incident at T1 seemed quite strange to me, to be honest.o_O
My race was basically over because they crashed in front of me. I almost escaped, but Mazurek was trying to continue and hit me, putting me on the wrong way of the track.
I got back way behind everybody, and have to apologise to @John vd Geest, for try a insane overtake at the end of lap 1. Fortunately I was the only one that suffered from that (I hope), crashing hard and damaging the car. Went to the pits for repairs, and finished the race after that. I could use the track time, since I didnt practiced much.

Hope for better luck next time.

Some of my first experiences with online simracing were with rFactor BMW E21 and Formula BMW, so what's not to like with this update to an rF2 version. If anything I think this version feels much, much better in rF2 but then why shouldn't it? :)
In both races incidents dropped me back several places, but that led to some great, close racing with John vDG which I enjoyed a lot.

So far so good. Here's hoping it continues in further races in the series

At one time or another we have all been subject to the less than perfect behaviour of Sim programming logic and either benefited or lost out due to it's seemingly arbitrary decisions. At SRO we rely on replay reviews and the occasional protest to deal with any driving behaviour considered to be unfair/unsporting, but cannot reasonably be expected to change race results based on the occasional and rare incident of this type happening. The odd lesser result will only make you stronger in future races Angelo :)

Two nice races, with a nearly full grid.
With more time for practice would been a better result for me possible.
Thanks to the two gentlemen, in the second race shortly after the start, who helped me to park ... :D:D:D

Hope i see you all in the next race.

Very pleased with my performances in both races & qually, did't put a wheel wrong all night. Race 1-Great hassle free start, good racing with Jens in particular. Last lap at the chicane unfortunately lost a place, finished 7th though. Race 2 was not hassle free due to the T1 mess that ensued, got through it unscathed at least. Spent a lot of the race trying to fend off Jens, decided to let him through with the hope that we could maybe work together to catch the next driver in front but Jens pace was just a little to quik for me. Caught Jens on the last lap but was a couple of tenths shy to go for the overtake, finished 5th and pretty happy with a good nights racing.

    Regards,
    Bret

That made me learn the car when I really had to push it. Before I was 2 seconds slower :D

Race 1 was one of the most intense races I've been in, with a car practically millimetres ahead of me for the full race, but I had too much wing so couldn't make a pass. Car was mega in the middle sector, but no passing places.

Race 2, qualified second and managed to miss the mess at the start and have clear track ahead. Only problem was I dropped front and rear wing 2 clicks each because of race 1 passing issues, and the car drive terrible. Had a 6 second lead with 5 laps left, but Henry closing by over a second per lap.
Just managed to hold on for the win, another lap and would probably have been a different story.

Two excellent races, close but fair and clean with Gerhard and Bret, it was someone else also but the name has dropped.
Managed to climbed to 4th from 13 in race 2 as I avoided the T1 crash, to bad for all affected.

Bret, for the final brake duell in the bus stop chicane, you get an A+ for the effort :D

My first impression was the same but every time when I drove through the Bus stop I asked myself is this a car with only three wheels or a skateboard?
Never experienced such a behavior before, the car often slided really odd and as it does I had no opportunity to change it. Also this was never the case in the rf1 version of Formula BMW and because of that I think they made it better and worse at the same time.

To my races, because of my train (proudly presented by Deutsche Bahn) I just made it to race one. As announced I used it as practise session and started with several lags, one was 10 seconds long (had anyone else such problems or just me?). Anyhow my last lap was a 2:28 and I thought this is enough to be competitive for race 2.
Not really, I ruined the qual session in the Bus stop as I went skating again. But it got even worse, I saw the traffic jam into la source and aware to go arround the outside. Unfortunately Klaus right beside of me not. He pushed me into @Bubán Dávid but not enough after the apex @Michał Mazurek was facing in the wrong direction. Klaus was still alongside me and I prayed please use the massive run off and give me space. He did neither and after watching the replay it seemed that he would have driven straight into Michal but my effort to turn left forced him to miss the car. But I hit Michal and bend my steering

Car was now in perfect shape for an oval or a halfpipe and not enough of Klaus. Several laps later he parked his car on the ideal line in les combes. From far away it looked like he was able to continue but that was a trap. He stayed at the same place and I hit his car quite hard and gave him a "bump start". Surprisingly neither he lost his rear wing nor I my front wing. Nothing against Klaus, he seems to be a nice person and did this not on purpose for sure.
From that point on it was a fight between me and my tiredness. I will give it another try at the next track, hoping for better circumstances.

Very strange as this car allowed me to really drive the new Bus Stop chicane in such a good way that I've never been able to before. Maybe a setup thing?

I think in the heat of the moment he was waiting to give me the position back, after a touch from him on entry put me into a half slide.

Could be, I had 3/4 wing rest default. I will test it with more wing
Ah ok, explains it probably. If this is the best place for it is another thing.

Without VR or sideways vision it's very hard to tell in a split-second how the car is placed. He's not the type of guy to do something stupid intentionally.
