After watching the replay it seems I owe Csaba and Ken an apology. Sorry for that touch Csaba and obviously sorry Ken that he hit you and caused your spin. Under more fortune circumstaces this would probably only lead to Csabas half spin and the race could continue. Not in this case, as it is reflex I waited for you Ken. But with the damage because of the other cars and your crash into the last turn, this was probably no enough. I was really not sure what to do and that Csaba waited for somebody on the start finish straight confused me too. In the end I decided to serve a late drive-through which promoted Casaba on the podium. Probably not the best way to do it, but I really struggle here.
NP Philipp, I think you reacted correctly in waiting for both Csaba and myself to get going again after our coming together. The small damage I collected made my car handle differently on left and right hand corners, so I had some inconsistency in the car when I was trying to make up lost ground. In the first incident I felt I was in the wrong place on the track as cars were coming around the turn, so I tried to move to the inside out of the way, but as I did Paulo was trying to pass on the inside and I got completely in his way, so many apologies to him for that. Rightly or wrongly I still tried to make the race without stopping, but in the end after working back to 3rd/4th, admittedly with others stopping ahead of me, I had to take a splash/dash 2 laps from the end otherwise I wouldn't have made it to the flag. Overall I really enjoyed this car mod and the series, so will look at running it again in the future
Nice fun again! I tried for the saving fuel and tyres strategy, and although I was quite slow, somehow without pitting I managed to finish 5th, wich was way more than I expected at the start. Hope more FWD series next year in rFactor or AMS, there are such a lot of fun!
Alright Ken I had a similar strategy, but with 20 sec clear to the guys behind I decided a bit earlier to pit. Absolutely, the mod needed some time but then it was good fun.
Thank you Ken for the series, thank you all for racing fair! I really enjoyed these races, probably this was my most complex period of racing. Practiced a lot of laps, hours at every track. First race was looking good, but i ran out of fuel in the last couple corners learn from that mistake.. I'm really happy to able to won this series! Thank you guys!
