Welcome to round 1 of the F1 Classic 1967 series:

    Highlands 8152 meters.

Highlands is an official Kunos track which is very suitable for the F1 1967 grand prix cars.
It has fast sweeping corners that lets you drift the car to the apex on high speed and powerslide the car out of the corners.
A very rewarding track for any 1967 car.

    Practice/Test server is UP
.. please have a go & make sure the fixed set up's are correct ! They have limited adjustments available ..

I have assigned most of the cars but still need some info from a few of the drivers so please hop on the server when you get a chance & do a few laps !

I need info for the following drivers:
    Travis Landsman
    Mark Jones
    Jens Roos
    Bill Grewcock
    Jukka Drugg
    Dag Johnsen
    Mauro Mariani

I have you in your cars but need GUID's to lock them down.
If your name is not on the list you should be good to go ! please let me know if you are in the wrong car ! (does not apply to drivers in the list above)
    Thanks !:D

This is a great track... Feels like something they might have driven back in the day...
Especially with all the GeForce billboards. You may not know this but the Geforce was Graham Hill's graphics card of choice.

Hi Mauro ! its easier than that ! simply jump on the SRO F1 67' server & do a lap or 2 in any car and it will record your info for me !

Ahh I have it now ,but once you log on the server with your nic ,stracker will keep it as your name in the live timing, so you might see 2 entry's or it will just keep your nic .. As long as you use your real name on the server for the race it will all be ok in results ..

For any members who may still be Red-Listed when it comes to race time, we will leave the server open after the official race for anybody who's interested in running an unofficial race, but there will not be an SRO Admin present. The switch from P to Q to R will need to be done by members using the in-sim voting system.

We'll switch the server to the next official event the following day.

I'm a bit surprised seeing the difference in lap times between the cars on the server. Since Louis Defor has tested all of them the difference should be more or less representative although he did much more laps with the Eagle. I was expecting the Eagle to be the fastest closely followed by the Lotus and Ferrari and the other cars close behind. Right now I'm 2 seconds off the Eagle, which is huge. I can shave off some tenths but still. I also have to try reducing the steering assist.. with 100% I had so much vibration my mouse and keyboard are jumping off my rig

That's what I'd expect too, at least from GPL... The Eagle was always the fastest in a straight line and this track should suit it well, but I don't think the Lotus should be THAT for behind...

Indeed, and if there would be 4-5 seconds between the Eagle and the BRM, that would be crazy.

You actually did a pretty fast time with 2.20.100. Don't forget that some guys are always alien fast no matter what they drive. The biggest difference in these cars are made by the driver. Some guys are just pretty good in these cars.

I think he meant that Louis Defor has driven 4.9 seconds faster than Eagle than BRM

That's what I meant yes. I see however that you improved Louis' time with the BRM with more than a second. Still, it's quite a big gap. I see if I can improve some more.

    lol....
I was happy to dig into the 2.25s yesterday in the BRM.
Depressing. I hope to have someone to race with.
