Can the server be left on continuous practice mode so your lap times would be there the next evening so you could continue your testing from the point you left it?

It is a very technical track. Put in some more practise tomorrow and don't try to overdrive the car, certainly not in the last sector.

As Tim says......It has taken me a lot of practice and time to get it into my head not to overdrive the car, which is very easy to do on this track. Oh and I am still no where near the pace of the leaders :)

Difficult track where I had difficulty getting on the pace in practice and qualifying.
Race one had a good start but had an incident as i tried to squeeze past and might have got it wrong . Havent looked at replay yet but apologies I think to Ken Jagger as it might have been my fault. Car damaged and i retired.

Race two I was not that far off the pace and capitalised on a couple of mistakes by other drivers. Started to get into a rythmn on lap two when an incident in front sent a car accross the track right into my path . As I was at high speed on the straight i had nowhere to go and crashed damaging my car to the extent that it wouldnt go straight. On replay its clear i could not avoid the impact. Anyway I retired again

Dissapointed but will see you all next race:eek:

Not my finest performance in this series, but somehow still good enough for two times seventh place. After the longer break for me, as I missed Mexico, I forgot about how to drive these cars. It needed the advice from you not to overdrive the car, which helped to get faster, ok fast is probably the wrong term for 2,4 secs off pace. Let´s say less slow.

Quali fast ok, P 9 but Hakan pipped me just by a couple of tenths. So I hopped that we could continue that fight on track. Got a good start but Hakan and Sean blocked the road so that I had to slow down. After missing the mayhem in the first corners I was chasing Hakan but suddendly as we entered the start finish straight there was a car still in his grid position. o_O
Saw it early enough to react but Hakan had probably looked in his mirrors and hit the car. Though luck for you mate.
I was lucky to avoid that completely. After that I had a uneventful race, because I was faster than Stefano but Sean was also faster than me.

As I entered the top eight for the first time in race one, I got my first front row start, which is somehow pointless but still a nice feeling. My target was to jump @Stefano Pedrinazzi at the start, lead for a lap, try not to lose time when the six faster cars approach from behind and overtake me. That worked more or less, start was good which felt superb especially because I got into the lead. Not for long but I got my lead lap :p but I lost likely too much time with the "wacky racers".

Seemed to be a typical incident with these cars, I missed the apex and tried to get the corner as I steered direct in front of the car behind. Lost both positions immediatly but it made no difference because I could continue and I likely would have lost these position anyway. Most important I could resist the pressure of Stefano and brought it home.
    Looking forward to Hockenheim.

I was so happy with pole but didn't enjoy from that position longtime as Bart made a better start. I tucked in behind him and when turning into the uphill corner I got tapped by my teammate and went sideways into Bart. Sorry again Bart but there was no way I could avoid you there: I already turned in and contact was unavoidable. :(
I continued in sixth or seventh place and was able to make up several places going through the field. In the end there was only one car in front of me who was a tad too far away to be able to threaten: nice win Fransel!
Race two I started from seventh and got lucky with the side of the track I was one entering first corner as the ouside seemed to be the quickest way. With Bart right up my arse I had to make up places fast, which I was able to do so. When I gained the lead from Philipp I had time to create a small gap before Bart would appear in my mirror.
He was reeling me in, apparently using all his PTP's and passed me at the start of sector 3 when I made a small error. I managed to stay close through sector three and had a good run on Bart on the straight and regained first. Then it was all about making no mistakes and using up my remaining PTP's which made me pull away from Bart and take victory. This was a hard fought one Bart, Cheers!

See you all at round 5 in two weeks time!

    Tim

(P.S.: Sorry @ Stefano for the slight tap at the sharp corner in the first lap of the second race)
