@Matteo Santini Yes, this track is bugged. Some invisible walls and a lot of bugs in the run off areas, had some problems during my offline laps.

My crash wasn't a big deal, had no damage at all .. on every other rack I would be able to return, and given my race pace, probably finish in the points. But as soon as I hit that fence, it started to spin out of control in the middle of the track and when I pressed the brakes, trying to regain control of the car, I got a puncture and both rear suspensions got damaged.
I was able to hit esc just after a minute.... someone could have hit me, if the bug persisted.

A whole race without having to pit,,,,very surprised
Was good but I need to find some pace:(
Sorry I spun at the absolute worst bit when being lapped. Other than that I stayed out of trouble at the start and found a rythmn. From there I had a few spins but car was ok
Done my fastest Donongton lap in race. Car felt ok ;)
Couldnt get around for a whole lap in quali but I think starting at the back was an advantage today
Hope I didnt hold anyone up
    Cyas next time

No mileage with mod, just couple odd practice sessions and think only 1 or 2 with mclaren
so didnt have high hopes but on the otherhand i did. wanted to finish podium and plan was for others to crash and not doing errors.
Was close and im ok with 5th.
I soon found out car was seriously lacking on straights and i just hotlapped whole race.
Pace was ok with heavy car but when others got lighter, they just started flying, specially on straights.
Start i did rude pass sorry.
End stages i pushed so hard and did errors couple laps to go. Totally lost it and dont know how i saved it but lost my podium spot.
Then went totally max out and lost it again, Yusuf just didnt see it. He went for overtake under the arch or whatnot and i just was praying my car
would stay on left side. was totally out of control again :DD

anyhow fun race gz podium and all who finished it. Was difficult one.

Indeed that was all my fault. Missed my braking point for the hairpin, and hit your left rear. I'm so sorry Laurent!

I'm thinking I might sign out from the series, as I'm starting to realize that I don't have the necessary experience to drive consistently in the middle of a pack of really fast people, let alone in a 1967 F1!

The race was great fun otherwise! Again I'm really sorry to have ruined it for you Laurent :(
Good luck with your baby! :)

Tbh you're driving in one of the more difficult cars in the league. I didn't have any pace either :/

Here is a replay from my point of view. I enabled the pedal app so you can see I tried to brake.. you were more cautious than I expected there. Sorry !

It happens. Those cars are tricky and to be fair that braking point is really bumpy and treacherous. Don't be silly about quitting the series, you're a great driver !

Don't worry... from your point of view there was barely a contact.
I'm usually very careful on first laps... especially on a track like this, where I was expecting around 50% of DNF.
I just like to keep some distance, in case someone spins ahead of me... the time lost on 1st lap can be easily regained after, when the cars are more scattered around the track.

During practices I had laptimes similar to Jukka. This didn't reassure me much, having already raced here with the Lotus 25, I knew it could easily turn into a DNF race. Above all, I was scared by the starting grid very crowded and short.

My qualifications were ruined by my FPS problems (a typical thing with my PC/mod tracks), so I was able to do only the fourth time, very far from my pb. In any case, I was in the front row.

Race: the fall of the eagle and the comeback
As I imagined, the first corner was quite chaotic. I tried to keep myself very wide on the right, but nevertheless I was hit and spun. A race contact, due to the starting grid.
I rejoined last (I think) with medium damages on nose and tail.
Some pilots left so my FPS problems were solved.
I started a furios comeback, gaining positions at every lap. Once reached Yusuf it was very difficult to pass him. He is a real hard bone. I was 5th at that point.
I was surprised to be not very far (in seconds) from the second position, despite the initial misadventure and the many overtaking facts. Jukka instead had a huge advantage.
I did few slow-laps to breathe a little, then I started the charge on Yusuf. I passed him and then also Toni. I was 3rd.
I defended myself from the great Yusuf until the last corner.
The speed of my Eagle helped me, but Brabham surprised me in corners, very effective.

A compromised race at the first corner, I could probably have done better.
But, I had a lot of fun in the comeback. A great race!

Congratulations to the "Finnish fast as a Finnish" and Yusuf for the great fight. Congratulations to all those who have finished a difficult race.

I just watch the replay and I laughed myself to tears hearing the comment at my driving to pit. Great job @Joseph Wright ;).
My biggest fear then was to not "take someone with me". And I managed to make a clean run to the pits.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough. It was not my day.
And I have an advice: Don't drink and drive F1 '67 cars
Congratulation to all drivers for a great race !!!!

    Oh my word.

    what a beautiful track.
    really really loved the track.

it however didnt love me back.
offline practice had me pitting every 10 laps for damage.

so for this race had to get bigger "big boy undies"

    race day.....
    undies on...
    track says NO!!

had absolutly no rhythm and struggled alot.
    was trying really really hard.
but after 2 spins. one perched on a sand bank and the other on my roof.
    i then stepped away sadly.

beautiful track, but probably the hardest track.

    bring on the next one
    :)

It was all going too well, I went from the back of the grid to 10th place in the first 2 laps then I realized that I had started the race on Qualifying fuel
Had to pit for fuel but apart from that the rest of the race was good.

Shame that I got collected by Pablo Finotti and had to start at the back of the field. Not his fault of course.
I think this was the hardest track of the series. I hope we can keep a field of around 20 drivers till the last round. That would be great!

So, bring on the next one!!
