    - original track created by LilSki (Assetto Corsa)
    - converted for rFactor 2 by digga

Most people might know this track already from Assetto Corsa, where it enjoyed great popularity. And fortunately, this same track has been converted to rFactor 2.

Bridgehampton Race Circuit was a race track located near Sag Harbor, New York, United States. The circuit opened in 1957, following a series of road races held from 1949 until 1953. It was one of the first permanent road racing venues in the United States, opening after Thompson Speedway, two years after Road America, the year after Watkins Glen International, and the same year as Lime Rock Park and Laguna Seca Raceway. In its early years, Bridgehampton was host to major international series, including the World Sportscar Championship, Can-Am, and NASCAR Grand National. By the early 1970s, the track was used mostly for amateur events. From its opening day to the mid 90's the AMA (Championship Cup Series in the 90's) hosted events twice a month and was a favourite to many motorcycle road racers. The track closed permanently in 1998.

Bridgehampton was renowned as a fearsome course, requiring the utmost of driver skill.

    Demo race

I'm looking for a team mate for this one as I have virtually no experience with rFactor2.

What does it matter if you're not an alien. The first question you should ask yourself is: "Will I enjoy myself driving the car and tracks?" If yes, then lap times are secondary.
If you can keep the car on track, regardless of lap times, you've already gained an advantage over crashing hotlappers :).
Also remember that there are more average drivers (like me) then aliens in the world. So your playing field for people to race against is much bigger.

    i fully agree.
but i dont want to be last by a lap or two.
i just want to be fast enough to be competitive.

i race to race with people not to set blistering laptimes. or become alien (no offence to aliens)

So you have to practice more, and do a good setup :D

If you get lapped by the entire field twice, then that's no fun. I agree. But only 20% of the field have the skill to do that. That 20% is consistently fast and doesn't make mistakes.
My advice is ... Just do round 1 and see what happens. If you keep your head and stay on track (and do a bit of practice like Henri said), you might be surprised where you end up in the result list :)

Bridgehampton only holds 24 cars, but the rest is all 30 gridplaces. And anyway, someone always droppes out for round 1, so I think you're good.
