Reminder to all who actually race to use your AMS profile name beginning with [SRO] which is used by the organisers for the Team Scoring.

Good one guys, my half an hour practice attitude was clearly misplace for an community event but I cannot afford more at the moment. Seems that is a bit of an SRO sprit (I do not dare to speak for you , I just think aloud lol) . At least we were effecient. To my race, slow start to avoid trouble, then battled a bit with Csaba and Flaviu but to my surprise I was fast enough to build a gap. But Ken stormed from behind and past me, I thought he would continue storming off. This was not the case and then we build the SRO train to drive as long as possible. Form Bathurst we alread knew that a tyre change is not neccessary but fuel was very tight. In the end I was one lap short and there was no way to make it so I pitted earlier than I had to, because Ken and I likely shared a pit stall. I don´t know how close you were to make it Ken, probably just a few gallons/liters. P9 in the end for me, could have been better if I had tried to save fuel :p
Track and car selection was great, that awaked desire for another complete season with the Stock Car mod.

I did a reasonable enough Q lap against all these AMS Community guys who only race AMS as far as I know, so you'd expect them to be pretty quick. At the start I got off the line clean and quick, went to the outside to avoid the slower car ahead, but the car ahead of him didn't move and when he hit it, it pushed it across right in front of me, spinning me around and dropping me 15 secs+ back in last place at the end of L1. Not much I could do but get me head down and try and save the tyres as much as possible.

I'm not sure if I sub-consciously eased my pace after catching and passing Philipp, but it looked like I would be able to stay ahead. But of course a couple of errors at the final corner when getting on the power, lost me 5-20 secs which proved crucial at the end. With the race being set for laps and not time, I wasn't sure if AMS would add one more lap, so I ran my fuel out until 1 lap from the end and had to stop for a quick splash. With the time I lost earlier it wasn't enough to keep ahead of Philipp and as I came out of the pits he blasted past, so that was that.

I'm not sure why both Flaviu and Csaba were so off-form as I didn't expect to be running ahead of either of them. What happened guys?

The results of this SRO hosted race have been sent to the AMSCC Organisers who will update the series results tables on their Discord site. I'll grab a copy when they do and post it here.

I was just slow, i don't know why. Something was wrong with the control (rpm stayed high in corners), but this should be an excuse. I thought will be better. I'm sorry.

It was a tough race for me. I lack the practice, I had a very hard day at work and yesterday was my birthday ;) (I know this is not a reason to be slow but just want you to know :D)
Ken, second thing I totally forgot about PTP button. I never race with this system. Just one attempt in the Audi TT I didn't like it. And third thing I couldn't focus at all .
... and forth thing I didn't like this cars. Maybe need some time to love them, but I didn't have it :p.
Still I'm glad I participate with you, guys, was a nice race and we had a nice team.
The race, I had a good start, I gain some positions, then after T1 in the crowd I lost a lot, latter I made a tete-a-que and in majority of time I tried don't ruin anyone race.
The worse was the 4th turn Bico de Pato (uphill one). I can't drive through there

You run a bit wide at turn one a few times in addition it seemed a car in front helped me to consolidate my pace.
First happy birthday although it is a bit late ;)

To the rest, the V8 Stockcar is a great car but needs time to come to terms with it. It is the same for the track, I raced the combination before nearly a year ago see https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/racing/eventinfo/462 (Same race distance)

When I remember right than I speeded in pitlane and finished last. Yesterday I matched nearly the former winning time. That is real progress ;) I´m sure you are capable to do the same thing and turn four, well it is ready tempting to get early on the throttle but if you do that it is difficult to make the next kink without a lift. Patience is needed

After my disappointing rf race I decided to join the community event. Was not so bad, P8 from 18 drivers who tried the Mending Langschleife.

I think some of these events were really fun
