    It's strange. For me matchmaker has been down for 3 days and is still down but just a while ago the Live Timing showed Jim G. on the server practicing. Maybe it came up again briefly but it seems to be down now.

    Go to the top of the page Live Timing go to the relevant server click join that is what we have done when matchmaker is not available.

    Tried that...here's what I get.

    The address wasn’t understood

    Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (rfactor) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

    You might need to install other software to open this address.

    Maybe its just me, I notice Joao got into the Spa server. rFactor is really beginning to wear me out.

    it is probabily a problem with ISI server. I try to connect the chat room and get the error "connection to chat server failled"

    The Matchmaker service is definitely down at the moment. I've emailed the server providers who host the ISI Service.

    Yes if the JOIN button doesn't work for you in Live Timing. Hover the mouse over the Join button and make a note of the IP Address and the port number. Click on the Blue + button when the join fails, type the address/port into the box and you can then join normally.
