Geez, I am glad the championship is wrapped up before we go here. I just cannot get any consistence here.

... a lot of thanks coming in this post :D
1st - thank the ACD team, for this series. as usually perfect choice of car and tracks! I was not able to join all of them, but anyway - perfect job ;)
2nd - thanks all guys for joining races, help with setups etc :)
3rd - a big big thank that you waited for me in yesterday's first race!! My headset decided to stop working during warmup and I had to restart comp. obviously I was not able to catch start of the race and the game didn't allow me to join. :(

race - as for all races I was frustrated during practice, when I saw my best results comparing to yours ;) I still cannot understand how Andrew can brake 20 - 30 meters later than me and still be able to brake on time and perfectly hit the apex and turn exits :D
Q1 - I was able to get my PB and ended in the middle of the grid at 4th place at the end.
R1 - after some collisions in front of me I was able to pass to 3th place and be on that place chased by Gerhard till the end of the race. Obviously he is faster driver, but I tried to be consistent as much as possible and was able to defend, retake and again defend my position. There were really nice actions with him. Even worth to be put on youtube :D:D
Q2 - I tried magic setup from Andrew ;) I didn't adjust brake force enough to fit to my pedals so I was not able to do any good time and ended at the end of grid. But apparently I saw that magic is not in the setup :D
R2 - during start (at 6th) I gained one place. Then I was battling for 5th place for a while, but I was able to escape and drove several laps after Jens and Gerhard far in front of me. During their battles I was able to catch them close enough to join them in their fighting. Unfortunately they made a contact to each other which caused quite big slow down for them and I overtook them to 3rd without the fight. It seemed easy for me as they were quite far behind, but after some small mistakes I had Gerhard on my back again. :) After some tough laps I was able to defend 3rd place till the end.

overall - very nice races. and it also encouraged me to further races as it is clear that consistency matter :D:D. not just best times :p

Congratulations to series winners and big respect to their great driving skills!!

see you on F3 challenge ;)

Think that is where I differ from my team mates.
Then always turn up the brake pressure on my setups (and if they send a setup, I turn it down).
I prefer to turn the pressure down so it is nearly impossible to lock the wheels, unless you really jump on the pedal.

Thank to ACD for hosting the championship, and everybody who joined

I'm not usually a fan a single seaters, especially modern ones, but these cars just seemed to suit me. (I'm sure that will change in the next F3 series :()

Race 1, had a good race with Toni in the early laps. After I passed him, was able to pull away slightly. I assumed he would look after tyres better than me and would challenge towards the end, but didn't seem to happen.

Race 2, Gerhard and Toni battles for several laps for P2, which allowed me to gain a 4 second lead. After Toni got passed, we were running pretty similar times so he couldn't close the gap.
    /w honk honk

Congrats to my teammates for also taking the team championship

Thanks to everybody joining this series, so much passion and action in the last 2 races - great.

    This our my conclusions:

    1. Andrew must be born in that car, he was a class of its own, brilliant driving and great consistancy, congrats for the championship!
    2. Incredible level of driving in this series. Andrew, Jens, Phillip, Toni, Roel and so on were superfast on nearly every track
    3. The double header format with two short races and short quali is quiet popular. One evening - two chances!!!
    4. I never will be better than average class, to many mistakes and bad strategties, but: a lot of adrenaline - pumping fights which made me feel "i am still alive"
    5. Lets stay together and increase our number of drivers, especially in the last rounds. Cant wait for Historic F3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
