    Welcome to the SRO ACC GT3 Sprint Series !
    Series 1: This series will consist of 4- 45 minutes week night sprint races on some of racings most iconic tracks .
    From the hi speed flat lands of Monza to the twisty bends of Brands Hatch this short series should be a true test of skill and patience ,& lets not forget the sunset at Spa as we race into the night for the final round !

    Car Selection: The first 2 series car selection will be open ,you can change cars every race if you want .
    Series 3 & 4 (To come in 2020) you may pick any car but must use it for the complete series = car selection locked
    (Series 3 & 4 have 6 events /races )

    Rules: We will be using modified Blancpain rules that include 1- 4 Tire Change* As well as the standard SRO rules found HERE . Each driver/car will need to complete 1 pit stop consisting of a 4 Tire Change This must be done during the pit window,

    Pit Window : we will have a 25 min pit window , the pits will open at the 10 min mark & close at the 35 min mark .
    If you need to pit before or after the pit window it will not count as your mandatory pit stop so you will need to pit again once the pit window opens .

    Start: We will be using the short version of ACC's rolling start meaning we will start behind the last turn and roll double file to the Green as the leader hits the line.

    Scoring :
    Race Points: 40-36-33-30-28-26-24-22-20-18-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
    Pole Points: 1
    Fast Lap Points: 1
    Min. Rank: 1 (This series is open to all SRO members)

    Custom Liverys: (custom skins) If your familiar with ACC and/or like getting your hands dirty you can create custom skins for your car ! these skins are created using ACC's soon to come custom livery tool & uses only SRO sponsored material (the real SRO lol) meaning you cant use your own stickers or paints ,you simply choose from what they offer however its a wide variety of different colors, shades & styles you can design buy selecting certain codes offered ,this feature is not user friendly yet or available in the UI but kunos have given us the keys to the back door and a full explanation with instructions can be found HERE. once you have it figured out I can add your custom livery files to the server , its actually a pretty cool featuere and once you pick a style & colors this color combo can also be transferred to what ever cars you decide to drive , so it sticks with you (if set to do so in the entry list .)

    disclamer: we will be using what ever the current release is at the time of the race ,meaning if a new build comes out we will be using that version . With 2 weeks in-between each race this is likely to happen plus the new 2019 cars are due out before the series starts o_O not to worry :D with ACC being on steam the auto update should be a seamless stress free adventure .
    This is the first of a 4 series season , series 2 will introduce the 2019 cars and will have 60 min races , series 3- 75 min , series 4- 90 min .. (in 2020 series 3&4 will be on the weekends)

    Hopefully the new v1.1 version with Triple screen support will mean I can get a better FOV as the current version is not good at all :)

    Nice to see the grid filling up !! :)
    These cars are very addictive ! :D
    Anyone new to ACC please check out the threads in the ACC forum some good info like:
    Engine Mapping.
    Custom skins.
    You also need to familiarize yourself with the pit stop menu .
    One Tip for the Rev limiter: In acc the rev limiter will only work if your car is in first gear ! as soon as you shift it will turn off so its easy to turn off when exiting the pit lane ,simply shift to 2nd & limiter turns off , but accidently hit 2nd gear while driving in the pits can get you a speeding penalty ! You can also switch it on/off manually once mapped ..;)

    Remember to find private servers in ACC you need to use the SEARCH bar in the server lobby ( pass worded servers DO NOT show up in the regular MP server list)
    Just type simracingonline ..;)

    *After testing it looks like the mandatory pit stop rules will change , we will be enforcing a one stop mandatory 4 TIRE CHANGE for this series ( and series 2,3&4) and will NOT be using the 10 sec stop & go ( epic fail:D) . This change was to make the pit stops equal for all drivers .The tire change will take around 30 seconds! Please make sure you understand how to make a proper pit stop ! If anyone has issues on how to set up your pit stops just ask ! Lots of smart people here ;).

    Sorry for being dumb. Does "open" mean any car, any week? Can we swap from race to race?

    I'm loving a few of the evo cars but I have such a soft spot for the Jaguar I cant make my mind up.

    I'm glad you brought this up good question !
    The Plan is to have this first set of (4 - 45 min races on Tuesdays), Series 1 (4-45min) & Series 2 - (4-60min ) , The car selection will be open & you can change any time ! Use these sprint races to fine the car you want for series 3 & 4 as they will be locked .
    Series 3 & 4 (Saturdays in 2020) you will have to choose 1 car and stick with it for that series (series 3, 6 -75 min races) . Then for series 4 (series 4, 6 - 90 min races) you may again pick a new but must stick with it for that series .. Im adding this to the first post !

    I will ask something If possible to take the races a bit earlier because of gmt + 3, really struggling into the midnight in weekday : / So, but not possible, I will be still ok to join.

    Could I participate in the Spa race coming Tuesday ?

    I have *never* raced online with ACC. Do I have the necessary ratings to join ? How do I find the server ? Is it password protected ?

    Yes & Yes .. !!
    Fire up ACC & go to multiplayer , when the server menu opens you will see a space at the top this is the search bar area , type simracingonline in the search bar ,once the server shows you then need to add the password in the password area (lower right side of the simracingonline server tab that just pop'd up from the search) Make sure you pick your car before you enter !
    FYI: password servers do not show in the public lobby so you MUST use the search bar for all servers that have a PW & the ratings are all off on the SRO server besides the fact when using a pass worded server it bypasses the ratings all together so all you need is the pw to get in despite what ratings you have .
