    Hello chaps,
I've to ask a question about pit entry. There are 2 ways on this track to go into the pit lane:
    1) in the final part of the straight, before the last corner, you can take a road on the right that brings you into the pit, or
    2) after the last corner there's another pit lane entrance, but it seems more dangerous to use this one, especially when you are fighting against someone, because it can result in an unexpected move by the driver in front.
In case I'll have to do a pit, which one will be the right road to use?

    Thank you in advance :)

Pit entry should be BEFORE the final corner.

Registration is always open right up until Qualifying, so if circumstances change you can still race. :)

Unfortunately I missed the start of the race again. I thought that 18.00 GMT were 20.00 pm in Italy but I was wrong again. So I joined the server when the race was about to finish... It's not the first time unfortunately :mad::mad:. I hope you won't drop me from the next races list. See you for the next

Sorry you missed the race Matteo :(. GMT is always 1hr behind CET, including when the clocks change during the year for Summer time.

    What a race!

I drove the car at the circuit for the first time yesterday and loved it right from the start. Mechanical grip, lots of power, low aero, few setup options, very stable, etc. It just suits me so well!

When I missed qualifying due to a game crash I was kind of nervous, especially since Csaba was getting pretty close to my laptimes in practice, but I had so much fun fighting through the pack in the first few laps, and hunting Csaba down for the lead was the most fun I've had in a long time! When I passed him I knew that I had the pace to extend my lead, so I set myself the goal of lapping third place, which I so nearly achieved on the last lap, but Ken was just too smooth.

Thank you to all of the lapped cars who saw me coming and got out of my way even though you didn't need to. There were some really good sports today!

Thanks for the event! I love it, and I intend to be here for the rest of the season.

Yes. It was a great combo. I had a lot of fun. Long time I missed that (maybe because I have a little less time to race) It was the first in few months when I watched the replay right after checkered flag :)
I had a great race with Paul, Norman and Barrett. Thank you for a nice race, guys. Well, at first, I can't believed when I saw the blue flag. I thought WTF it is a mistake? This is not possible o_O But … it was.
Good race Caitlin. Congratulation also to Csaba and Ken

Apologies that the race results show some errors in the number of laps completed, not sure why as if you click on the report link, it shows correctly. It doesn't affect the results positions or points won, so I'll leave it as it is.

    Qualification
Put in a PB to take 2nd but it was a sign of things to come as my front left tyre after just 3 laps was in the yellow :(

    Race
What the hell am I doing wrong. It seems the rest of the field are on different tyres than me. Are you guys using the wet tyres ;). After 6 laps my left front was in the yellow then after a big lock up it dipped into the red with only 15 minutes of the race gone. I tried to pit but this just summed up my race as I slid off the track seeing the pit entry slide past me and nothing I could do about it. I very briefly parked up really wanting to press the escape key but I decided to carry on. So with a red face, not sure whether from embarrassment at the comical way I couldn't get in the pits  or the growing anger I have with this sodding car . There are many mods I don't get on with and this car is fast climbing to the top of the list. I really don't understand how the rest of you are running around with no dip in lap times for the whole race.

    Well done Caitlin :)

Well thankfully I can't make the next round so that's one less race I have to endure. Not sure whether I'll continue after that.

    Please enforce this rule:
You must use your real name when you participate in SRO events. For Project Cars 2 events, you may have to change your name in Steam to match your name in SRO. This is important to processing race results. If you race with a name that does not match with SRO your race results will be removed and you will be disqualified from the event. Thanks.

Rui re-entered track in the long straight on lap 5 or so, disrupting many cars.

The incorrect use of an RF2 nickname by Rui for this, his first ever race at SRO, was dealt with after the race by PM with him. We cut a bit of slack for new members finding out the way we operate here.
If you were unhappy with another members driving, then I suggest sending him a PM to discuss it privately. The other option is to log a protest if you feel strongly enough that our racing rules were infringed.

I can understand why you are so frustrated Paul, when you are so competitive in the other series. For this car I try and get the handling to give me some lift-off tuck-in, but avoiding too much which could lead to over-steer and being too tail happy. Due to different driving styles, there is never one easy solution to suit all of us. I also try not to push too hard into corners which does slide the front tyres, overheating them, even if it doesn't give that feeling through the steering wheel. On exit getting it lined up enough to get on the power early seems to help for me. For this race I found that stiffening the front helped with looking after the front tyres without upsetting the handling.

Having said all that, I couldn't believe how fast Caitlin was all the way through the race . I have had very few occasions in online racing where I have been totally confident in what the car will do on every lap, so it's incredible to see Caitlin and others racing here who seem to be able to do that. One odd thing I did notice from the replay was that Caitlin's brake travel never went much above 60% for any turn, including the fast entry to the final turn . Maybe it's just the way she has her pedals, brake pressure and bias set.
