Welcome to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport Park and Mosport International Raceway) is a multi-track motorsport venue located north of Bowmanville, in Ontario, Canada. The facility features a 2.459-mile (3.957 km), (length reduced through wider track re-surfacing done in 2003) 10-turn road course; a 2.9 km advance driver and race driver training facility with a quarter-mile skid pad (Driver Development Centre) and a 1.5 km kart track (Mosport Kartways). The name "Mosport" is a portmanteau of Motor Sport, came from the enterprise formed to build the track; it is pronounced as the two words actually sound, "Mo-Sport" (but is often incorrectly pronounced "Moss-Port").

I was on today and it was fine. Maybe you there was only 6 minutes left? Or you were in warmup?

  5. Thanks a John, just been on it again without any problems, perhaps I did just join with a small amount of time left. Over 1hr left tonight when I joined, never noticed the countdown timer before!. Looking forward to my first race.

    Formation lap

All events will start with a single file formation lap.
The pole-sitter will start the race at the end of the formation lap, coming out of the last corner.

You can use the Voting system to restart the practice sessions. :)

  9. Thanks Paul, I’ll bear that in mind for the future, think it was down to me not realising I’d logged into a session with a short time available (qually maybe!)

Fantastic Racing for P8,9 and 10 aaaaaaaaand Internet disconnected. I'm going to go murder my landlord now.

Actually sad about this, first championship in a while, genuinely competitive, internet dies. :/

Shame man! Hope it goes better next time. Restarting your modem before the race is always a good idea.

First off, I want to say again, I'm very sorry about the way I rejoined the track (more on that in a sec) with a pack of 3 cars (not sure who all was in that pack...Jen Roos, and others is all I could gather at the time) I'm very glad and quite lucky I think, that I didn't cause an incident for you guys

    Now, onto the race....

I can't believe I nearly threw that away! I have got to learn to quit second guessing my fuel calculations.
After what was one of my better races in terms of consistency of pace, I decided with 15 minutes to go and a near 15 second gap to P2 to broadside the wall at Quebec corner. ...can't math and drive at the same time
Thought it was over, I had it slowed down quite a bit when I hit the barrier...maybe was doing 25mph or so. Tore up the left front and rear suspension quite a bit...car all out of balance, crabbing. Wheel cocked to 10pm. Very lucky it wasn't worse and I was able to continue without being forced to stop.

Good race at the front. It was a challenge preserving the tires, knowing that the fall off would come at some point and trying not to cook them too much.

Thanks to admin for hosting, and the clean driving on track.
I hope to more of the races in this series and maybe I'll see you all then. :)

    OMG. That was fun.

For the Quali I had only 1:30 mins because I silenced my pedal set 30 mins before the start but damaged the throttle cables at the assembly. So when the Quali started I had to solder the cables back. :D

And the Race... I started from 16th and finished 8th. I had a good battle with Joe Brown for the first few laps, and he made me hard times because he defended his position really hard. Then I had a battle maybe with Denis. When I finally caught him I had better grip after the hairpin to the straight so I got next to him. I was on the inside and I caught the grass with the right side of the car at the brake zone. I don't know how but I made the corner and passed him. After that I was in no mans land. 13-14 sec in front of me and 20-30 behind.

I love this car. It was a good choice for this championship. :) I can't wait to watch the replay. Will it be uploaded?

    GG for the winner.
