I raced 2 full offline races trying to make the tyres last to the end, but I couldn't. I had no choice but to stop for tyres. I did an ok lap in qualy but Paul was faster. The first laps were a lot of fun. Good, clean, close racing. Not having to save tyres I pushed as hard as I could and overtook Paul. At mid race had 15sec advantage and changed tyres. Two laps later it was clear that Paul was going to the end without stopping and had a good lead (20+ seconds). I drove as fast as I could but had to wait for Paul's tyres performance drop to take the lead again. Finished the race with only 41% front tyres. Next race will be the last of this series on a circuit that only raced once (with Fiat Uno mod). Should be fun.
It worked for me to avoid a stop, and despite a terrible race I was able to end up second. The misfortune of others was good for my result.
