Hi everyone, I will do my very best to make this final round of the series. However with all the uncertainty in the world at the moment, the parent company I work for (Creasey's) have closed their stores on Guernsey. Creasey's Limited who own about six or seven franchises (including Marks & Spencers who I work for) had huge losses leading up to Mother's Day so have decided to shut everything apart from the Food Stores to save the company collapsing. Guernsey has gone into lockdown as of yesterday, we've only had about 23 cases so far but we are an island of 50,000 and anything like this can spread like crazy if we didn't do something fast. Also like some places in the UK, people weren't doing what they were asked. Still going to the pub, still going out clubing, having meals, etc. Crazy. I'm working on a project to launch an M&S Guernsey online food ordering service to the residents of the island (mainly the elderly who can't get to our stores) and if I get tied up with that over the weekend I apologise in advance. However my brain needs a break and an hour of sim-racing would be a very welcome relief, lol. Stay safe everyone, stay indoors, and be careful. We'll beat this terrible thing
Yeah I’m afraid we’ve had one more case confirmed today. Turns out the twit realised he was ill but still went out to work. So the states of Guernsey are now trying to trace about 70 odd people he came into contact with. Some people just don’t get the message.
hi all, i cant see the password inthe usual spot... im registered. anyone can help please? @Ken Jagger ?
Apologies for not setting the race pwd or being able to attend today. Many of you will know my PC is away for repair and I'm trying to manage with some old equipment which doesn't always want to play ball.
Sorry everyone. Without lots of practice I’m just not good enough. Badly flat spotted the fronts on the first lap, and then just battled with a shaking wheel from there. Tried to keep going and my pace was ok but lost it through the final corner. Great choice of track though, will definitely race against the AI around here later on tonight. Hopefully these cars will return soon.
I think fellow Admin John van der Geest may have something in the pipeline for a future series with this mod.
Never been here before and have to say didn't do much in the way of practice so much so all through the race I kept confusing the last corner with the one before it nearly spinning me on occasions. Love this track though another little gem as with the first couple of tracks in this series. Great series and hope to see it again next year. Big sorry to the corvette I hit when trying to pass but you were flickering quite badly so it was difficult to know where your car actually was. Well done to the winners. I'm guessing Joe won the GTE as I think Andrea dropped out. Maybe wrong. For all those who want some more GT fun there's an American GT3 series beginning next Tuesday. Looks like a good amount have already registered. See you trackside
Very well done to the following drivers on their successful Championship campaigns and also to the Witchwood JF and Bad Voices Racing teams on their respective Class wins. And many, many thanks from me personally for supporting the series . LMP3 1. Caitlin Penny 2. Sam Butters 3. Ricardo Alitta GTE 1. Joe Brown 2. Paul Ansty 3. Andrea Ricci
