True. Maybe because it was 90 minutes. This series is set for 60 minutes.
Just a suggestion, something else is fine too.

I would love a mod like a '90 DTM mod or even better the 1991 F1 mod, i think its just BEAUTIFUL.. I have a thought, what about to pick our cars after a random lottery? If this is possible of course, but with this way we will not have to "argue" about what car we will choose, it will be given to us randomly...

Just some thoughts on the suggestions so far :
All 4 of the Grp C cars (you forgot the Nissan ;) ) are totally unmatched - I'm considering them for a series myself but will need days worth of testing to make them even roughly similar in performance. That said the Porsche 962 championship we ran 2 years ago at srou is one of the best championships we've ever run, if they can be balanced then I'm well up for it.
Or we can run single make although that removes some of the fun.

F1 75 is very good but has some physics bugs and definite performance difference - mostly this is correct and slower cars are slower, but the Ferrari is an also ran and it should basically walk any race.
It would still get my vote though as it was frankly brilliant when we ran it last year!

I like the look of the F1 91 cars although haven't driven them (you know what I'll be doing tonight!).

The DRM team state they'll do a discount for racing leagues, I'd be interested if we ran it but I guess we'll need solid numbers before contacting them..

I'd hold fire on BTCC for now, the team are still working on and releasing cars.

I've got the legends mod and it's very good, but it will be hard finding enough tracks in AC that are short enough. Also it's a very wild car so may scare a lot of drivers off given it needs such small tight tracks!

I tried the ASR F1 1991 briefly yesterday and the physics didn't feel detailed in my opinion.. I expected a lot more of it. Tried the Ferrari 643.

I own the DRM mod since the release, never raced with it, seems not to be popular for some reason, was a huge success with rFactor and my very first championship win back in 2010 or 2011...
I don't know if that's possible but I can share the mod files with you all...

i'd vote DRM revival mod or Group C.
The F1 75 mod is fantastic but several of us have just completed a series using them elsewhere. Those other F1 mods do look good though but wonder how much setup work they will need? Also like Porsche cup as always creates fantastic close racing.
What about the Legends Touring Car pack? Looks to be a great set of cars in that too.

I tried the 91 ASR stuff last night (Ferrari at least), and it's OK - although feels less alive now than the older versions for some reason.

I also tried the free car from the DRM mod and that's sold me. If we're running that as a season then I'm in, that monster felt properly alive (although I think they've tamed the turbo lag a bit for us - my old Nissan makes well over 300Bhp from a 2l and all that power comes on between 3800 and 4000rpm. The crapi you get for free is much gentler despite twice the power from an older and smaller engine! But that's just a gripe, I love it otherwise ).

DRM would be great indeed and I would like to do a series with them at least once.

It doesn't look like @John vd Geest is keeping score anymore, so I'll help you John.

I have likes on my video and DRM championship comment above from Henri, Davide, Mark, Vasilis and Tim. Including me that is DRM championship X6

It is a DLC, so you can't offer the files for free on the forum. Sim Racing Online would be held accountable for that. :)

The problem with that is that people will not drive what they don't like. And thus signups for the series will drop.
The only way to keep signups up, is to let everybody drive what they want. Even if that means 7 or more duplicates.

Just drove the free DRM demo car and loved it. So it also gets my vote.
The full mod is € 15,- so I hope more people will appreciate it enough to get a good sized grid, if selected.
