I've never seen the above cars before
I'm assuming they're dodgy rips from somewhere - what's the quality like on them?
While they'd be nice it would be pointless if physics/sound/graphics were well below par..

You missed the Nissan NP35 from RaceDepartment BTW :p

    Nissan NP35?:), I'm going right now ...:)
As for the origin of the cars, I don't really know ... they are available, let's use them. I think most of them have already been used by other leagues ...
I did not drive everything and compared, but the few tests carried out seem to me to be very correct !! Driving these wonders with real sonic and visual sensations...:D
I'm even ready to go race offline if I had no choice:(
    you want links?;)

Yes, please, we would like to see all the cars you're talking about. Otherwise we don't know what you're talking about and form an opinion.

looks good. We could self regulate for who is considered fast, very fast, middle road drivers and allow them to choose a car from the relevant group. Or as John stated let drivers just choose their favoured steed but that has the problem of lots of the very fast cars only so you would need to restrict how many of each car are available perhaps? I did similar for our F1 75 series where it was limited to 2-car teams and that worked well and grid looked more ace as a result. Or we let the very quick guys choose from the fast group and rest of us get the semi-fast group of cars as we know the aliens will disapear into the distance for their own race anyway :p I'd rather drive something i can control so semi-fast suits me fine :)

Or you limit tire choices per group. Of we're talking 1hour races again then forcing the fast group to use medium tires and the slower cars are allowed endurance then that might even things up a tad.
Bare in mind I've done zero testing to see how that would work out!

Maybe it's possible to make it a 3 group multiclass based on the classification of Henri. The grouping of Henri would have to be tested of course.
In addition, more people would have a chance to win a race or get on the podium.

Adding real skins and real names is no problem. But everybody would have to install it, or they'll get a mismatch on the server.

Can you upload the links so we know where we're downloading from?

This looks about right from the racing/testing I've done with the DRM mod. If need be, the fast cars could probably be sufficiently nobbled using the server restrictor facility or maybe better by altering the files to limit their turbo boost.

The real DRM series ran Div 1 and Div 2 classes so maybe that might be a better solution to make use of the fast and semi fast cars.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to make it a multi-class series.

1 pour multi-classe, quel que soit le mod choisi ;)
especially that if there are as many people as at this moment, that is no problem ...

From different sources, it would have been too good! This is the problem every time. Unless someone is working on it and making it compatible ;)
I have some which can run together but they were provided by another league and I cannot diffuse their work:(
If the tendency was to choose group c, maybe some could be grouped with those of origins

Is that really a big problem, I mean if you just adjust race length and different type tracks to make other cars bit more competive. I think theres no point to chase too much absolute equal performance of cars, I personally like differences between every car, driver just need to deal with car, bit like real world...

It's also true ! They don't all have the same performance and behavior (and that's happy), it just has to be consistent and realistic

Yes other problem with the group C cars is they are spanning from early 80’s to early 90’s looking at those mod links so no surprise they aren’t at same performance levels. While I agree they don’t all need to be equal, we still need to have someone to race rather than them fly off into the distance ;)
Some of the cars probably work well together, just needs a fair bit of testing though.

Group C was notoriously unbalanced even within the same year!

Just a Note - the Eagle is actually an IMSA GTP car and not Grp C, I don't know how the categories differ but wouldn't be surprised if they don't play well together over race distance!

[/ QUOTE]
Some had to run in the 2 categories. I believe the Nissan for example, others surely ...
