Sorry for telling you so late, but as per my post over on the round 5 thread I won't be making tonight's race.

Looks like a great track though, and my dad will probably keep me updated through the livestream, which he really enjoys watching :)

The RSR should be underneath the 908_LH in the folder list

The Porsche RSR file you need it from is in the DLC Porsche pack 2.
Buy it, and I'll pay you back.

Alternatively, it's also already included in the SRO download (that's free). The whole pack is ready to go:

The drivers championship looks pretty done and dusted, but not quite yet.

What is a fact is that my team G.E.A.R. has won the TEAM championship 43 points ahead, mainly thanks to my teammate Laurent Londes who today did an outstanding job fighting back to second place under great pressure from Tim who is also a class on his own. Great fun to watch. Well done Laurent! You're the man!

Grats to Phil for the win. Great drive.
See you all at my favourite track the Sudstrecke, the last round.

Thanks to Caitlin for the broadcast !!

First of all i want to apologise to Jari Laakonen for my bit offensive behaviour at quali when he punted me,- by mistake my caps lock was on and it was look like i yelling at him at chat. I was a bit frustrating because i was at my fast quali lap and i said him that my lap was fu***d up. I am sorry again.

Finally a good race and a very good result for me, actually i did very few mistakes and it seems that i am improving a lot at consistency. I did a very bad start at the race i lost some places but the worst off all i got hitted from one or two cars and i spun... again.. I found myself 16th ( i qualified 7th, i lost 9 places) and was trying to climb up..

At turn 9 i think, was an incident again, i thing Davide, Paul (Anstey) and Syd touched eachother and when i was coming by, suddenly i saw Syd's Nissan facing at me and.. boom.. Syd i am sorry but i couldn't do anything to avoid it.. After that was trying again to do my race, for some reason i couldn't get the best of my car at the first laps so, Paul overtook me ( he was definitely at much faster rythm - about 2 seconds faster at that time) and Davide was on my tail until he also passed me. From that time i started to be more stable and faster on my times ( i was running at low 2:09 - 2:10) and i was close to Davide who was struggling with his Pantera ( believe after the crash something went wrong with his car). I increased my difference from Cristian a lot and because of the ability of my 906 of no pitting i found myself at 7th position and i had very close in front Mark And Davide..

At turn 10 i think they had i small impact, Davide spun and again i couldnt do nothing and crashed on him.. i think i lost about 15 seconds there because i had behind me James at 14 seconds difference ( he pitted) and he passed me.. Davide probably had a big damage to his Pantera and couldnt continnue the race ( i am really sorry for that, but honestly i couldn't avoid the crash) and Mark did a drive-through penalty. At last laps i had a nice and fair battle with Mark who managed to pass me about 4 or 3 laps before the end because of a litlle mistake of me and because of i was running out of fuel..

Congrats to my teammate Phil for the win :) to Laurent and Tim who had great battle each other and to all guys who raced.
Very special thanks to Caitlin for another entertainment commendatory and to John for hosting this great series.

Hi guys great racing as always. I only realized I had a race at 1 pm yesterday and had never raced that track before lol so i'm happy with 6th. @John vd Geest, great battle mate, and great defensive driving , I just couldn't find a way past and sorry for the tap as well. I just watched the stream and props to Caitlin for a great commentary. Grats to Phil for the win and to Laurent and Tim for an epic battle for 2nd place and to Team G.E.A.R for the team championship. See you all again on track :D.

Nope I got caught up in Davide's spin. Went to the right but Davide came back across the track and collected me. Then all hell broke loose and I became a punch bag. Felt like there was 50 cars in the race at least. :)

Not sure what happened at the start but I was hit hard from behind before we even reached the first corner :( Is there a server replay available because I would like to see what caused that?
Anyway, rejoined in last place with an offset steering wheel and had to adapt for the rest of the race. Had a long battle with Glyn in the other RSR but eventually gave it up after causing him to spin off avoiding one of my mistakes
Well done to the pody and thanks to John for organising and to Caitlin for the commentary

cracking race last night even if i didnt get the result i thought i deserved from all my efforts.
Qualified well in 6th. Was soon running 4th after a lap or two and stayed there for about 40minutes with a 19+ sec gap back to anyone chasing when i pitted. I couldnt keep up with the flying top 3 but was comfortable and consistent in 4th.
When i pitted on lap 18 i re-emerged right behind John and Paul A, which miffed and surprised me, though i thought they must be pitting within a lap or two. I seemed quicker than both but just couldnt find a way past Johns fat ass Ferrari (though he was doing some pretty 'robust' defending!) this continued for a few laps until i had to take avoiding action of his car under braking and lost places i think to Paul and Davide
I attacked Davides Pantera for a few laps but on the sweeping hairpin left i got my nose up the inside (as i did to a few cars last night) but his car got a pendulum swing under acceleration and biffed my front right wing which unfortunately pitched him into a slide. I think he might have recovered it but a green 906 came plowing into him from my right as i eased out of the throttle. I was a bit mortified that he'd spun so i waited a few secs and then took a drive thru penalty even though i didnt really think i was at fault. This cost me badly as now i'd gone from a safe 4th to about 7th or 8th...grrr. :(
I really lost my focus for a lap or two as hate any contacts, priding myself on being a clean racer. But then i recovered and attacked Vasilli's 906 ahead. We had an immense battle for a few laps with some by great side by side action and finally i got past to claim 7th. I was closing on the next two targets but then ran out of time as the race ended with me right behind them.
Deserved 4th, got 7th so not a bad nights work, track was fantastic and felt in a great rhythm in the CSL.

edit, just really enjoyed watching Caitlans replay video, brilliant action throughout. As well as my own close battles i enjoyed the Tim v londes Battle up front.

I started with a full tank of 111 liters and was not going to stop. The Ferrari isn't good enough to run at the front with a pitstop. Had to do some hard defending all throughout the race. First I was much heavier and in the end my tires were shot. Only 2 guys got by me, the first (forgot his name) pushed me out of his way. Probably frustrated. And after that Davide punted me twice in 1 sector and that let Paul A. by while I was holding 4th place.
On the last lap James Bird was all over me. I had no rubber anymore but made sure I hit all my apex's. In the last lap, last corner James was so close he almost sat on my roof and took every line he could think of to pass me before the finish.
I kept my place and 10 meters after crossed the finish line, I ran out of fuel and had to laugh so hard. That was funny :D.

Good fight James. You are a very good and clean driver. An example to many.

Very difficult race for Nissan, total lack of traction eveywhere. Got frustraded and went back to pits watch race after 30 mins. First track where Nissan's fuel consumtion was reasonable for some reason...

Qualified well and got a good start but then Davide had his spin and I couldn't avoid the ensuing mayhem. By the time I recovered I was in 16th place. Fought back really well to get to 5th before I pitted for fuel and tyres. Now down in 10th I fought back again. Came up behind Davide and John. They came together and I drove straight through the middle of them. Mark I had pitted by the time you did so we were actually fighting for that 4th position. I had very similar pace to you so I think the closing 15 minutes would have been a great fight but it wasn't to be. From 16th after the first lap back up to 4th was a fantastic result for me. Excellent track. Hope to see it again.

Well done to Phil, Tim, and Laurent for the podiums :)
