rFactor 2 Le Mans single event June 20 2020

login with password seems ok.
No messages.
RF2 starts ans shows the 'server'page. The one with network setings etc. followed by an empty vehicle list.
Clicking on Tuning shows the pacecar by the way (but that is not driveable of course)
Clicking on race (without a car) loads circuit and gives a message in the chat: "You have been booted: Vehicle class not not pass filter" (but that makes sense because there is no vehicle to select...)

As an extra check I just registered for the F1 McLaren M23 Rouen race and logging in that one shows the McLaren cars. So there it seems ok.

It must be something with matching of cars. I just recently bought the S397 Endurance pack. Version issue maybe?

 

As far as I know I have the right version of the track. It loads anyway. The cars don't.

I have the 0.83 version of the track.
When I log into the server no messages are shown. After the 'network' page an empty vehicle list comes up.

Makes sense because there is no vehice to select, but it look like there is no problem getting in te server.

In my veciles directory I have these versions as installed with Endurance pack

For what it is worth, just got on the server with no problems and all cars there.

 

Just checked out my Vehicle files. I do not have the "b" versions. Don't know where they came from. Could try deleting them?

 

I'm not aware of any skin pack, but I played around with some downloads before I bought the Edurance pack, so it might be something that does not belong to the official pack.
I removed the b-versions and guess what.... It works!

Maybe I will be doing faster lap times without the b-rated cars

PS I will unregister from the McLaren race know, I tried a few laps and fiddled with some setup settings, but I better not spoil your race!

 

Skinpacks from the workshop will create a 'new' version, manually added skins will not.

Also keeping old session mod files, will keep any older versions of cars and tracks.

Normally all files are deleted when you uninstall these and reboot rF2. Manually deleting folders not needed normally but good you got it sorted

You are absolutely right. Deleting the files manual was indeed a temporary solution. Restarting and synchronizing workshop created the b-*&#@! again.
So I unsubscribed a lot of workshop items and now they are gone forever.
(I believe the evil-doer was Global Endurance Cup 2019-20)
So your addition was the icing on the cake, thanks!

Don't expect too much, but I will try and see

 

I had this issue and it was the steam auto subscribe hadn't uploaded completed downloads of all the cars fully.
So a little bit of unsubscribe an click again reload and all was resolved
