    Welcome to round 7 Südstrecke 1967

    The Nürburgring Südschleife (south loop) was a German motor racing circuit which was built at the same time as the world-famous Nürburgring Nordschleife (north loop). These two layouts were joined together by the Start und Ziel (start/finish) area and could therefore be driven as one track that was over 28 kilometres (17 mi) long.

    Opened in 1927, the Südschleife was rarely used after the Nordschleife was rebuilt and updated in 1970 and 1971 and was finally destroyed by the building of the current Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit in the early 1980s. Today only small sections of the original track remain.

    This is actually as track version of the Nordschleife 67, so that's why the same Nordschleife download link is up again.
    Please check your online connection to this track, as some had issues with the Nordschleife.

    May the last round be the best :)

    That is not a track or not even road, it's more like cow trail somewhere in Germany....

    A chunk of it still exists as a public road (outside the official campsite), I can assure you it's a fantastic road ;)

    (Installation notes)
    Nurburgring 1967 (the Sudstrecke is a part of the track mod)
    Original tracks made by Nick303 and Motorfx, then merged and improved by Kackbratze for rFactor.
    Converted and improved for Assetto Corsa.

    To install:
    1. You need to open zip file nurburgring1967.zip
    2. In the zip file there is a nurburgring1967 folder. Open this folder
    3. Extract content folder into assettacorsa folder

    ATENTION: To enjoy this track in all its potential you need Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch installed. Some shaders from CSP are required in order for the track to work, otherwise it will just crash.
    If you don't want to install CM and CSP, you can still get the required shader files in this link:

    ac-custom-shaders-patch/sdk-shaders
    Some of new shaders compiled for AC SDK (both versions) and vanilla AC - ac-custom-shaders-patch/sdk-shaders

    Drop the content from "new" folder into assettocorsa/system/shaders

    Pit lane procedure

    Everybody has to do the same pit lane procedure.
    That means: Enter the pit lane at the yellow Dunlop tower at the beginning of the pit lane, and exit at the very end of the pitlane.

    You may not "cut in and exit" halfway down the pitlane.
    You will not see your pit box anyway if you're not in the pitlane.

    Hi Guys
    I dont know if I got af soft ware problem at this track (Nurnburg Sud).
    I uses the Porsche 906, #22 Oarkes Green.
    On start at the game, I very sone gets this car illustration on the game screen. Is it not surpose to bee green as my game car? It come red all around with yellows tires also?
    Maeby it is the track problem..o_O:(

    I have tested the track and its ok with me.. Did you install tha shaders patch as John mentioning? You need to install it for working properly...

    Hopefully Caitlin is broadcasting this one again. As there is only 1 replay camera I've been busy again to add some variety.

    To install just drop the file (extract it first obviously!) into your AC folder - unless you already have extra cameras it shouldn't over write anything :)

    Here's a preview - I haven't used the CSL as quite frankly this circuit just highlights how bad the physics are, so I used some far better BMW's instead ;)
    Oddly enough they're a teeny bit faster...

    Oh the back of my CSL dances here ;) , the problem is that the front end behaves like a fat kid on a pogo stick....

    I haven't pm'd caitlin, do you want to do the honours John, just to make sure she finds this in time?
