Welcome to round 6 Snetterton 300

Snetterton Circuit is a motor racing course in Norfolk, England, originally opened in 1953. Owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, it is situated on the A11 road 12 miles (19 km) north-east of the town of Thetford and 19 miles (31 km) south-west of the city of Norwich. The circuit is named after the nearby village of Snetterton to the north-west of the circuit, although much of the circuit lies in the adjoining civil parish of Quidenham.

The circuit hosts races from series including the British Touring Car Championship, British Formula Three Championship and British Superbike Championship. From 1980 to 1994, the track hosted the UK's first 24-hour race, the Willhire 24 Hour. From 2003 to 2013 the Citroen 2CV 24 Hour Race was held at Snetterton on the 200 Circuit.

Can't enter the server. It stating build versions are different. Guessing the server is still on 1119. My build is 1120. Looks like another small patch has come out sometime since the 4th June. :)

Im speechless with Angelo Silva driving. It´s not the first time but today it was simply incredible. I really dont uderstand what this driver is doing on track and at the end just ruined my race.
Normaly i dont care about one or another minor inciddent. But this is by far something unbalievable. I should have protest him before, but this time i just cant take it any more. After he hit J. Brow, deliberatly hit me too.
Anyway it was a great great race with some fair and nice driving with vd Geest, wich i thank you so much for it. Lovely.
Unfortunatly my race was ruined and all the effort was for nothing. I really hope SRO ban this kind of drivers.
    :-(
Grats to winner and all that had a good racing through the finishing line

First ten minutes: Everything was fine. I was running third, and I was keeping up with the leader. The car felt great.

Second ten minutes: UNDERSTEEEEEEEEEEER. I started having to drift the car through corners just to get the thing to hecking turn. I dropped from third all the way down to eighth.

Third ten minutes: Barrett passed me just before the pit stops. I pumped 20 clicks more tyre pressure (Yes, really. You read that right.) into the front-left just to try to get it to stop wearing, as I knew that my understeer problems were caused by the fronts going off faster than my rears and upsetting the balance.

Fourth ten minutes: Absolutely flew, trying to jump people in the pits. I jumped Barrett and got back up to eighth.

Fifth ten minutes: UNDERSTEER 2: THE RETURN OF UNDERSTEER. Barrett got back past me. To make matters worse, my room started to become ridiculously hot and stuffy, and my skin started feeling prickly and uncomfortable. I tried desperately to turn my fan on when I was on a straight, only to realise that it wasn't plugged in. I started seriously considering giving up. I was in that much pain.

Final ten minutes: I hit a backmarker who rejoined onto the racing line and lost my front splitter. Normally I'd be furious, but today I was delighted! It gave me an excuse to pit, put on new tyres, change into lighter clothes and plug in my fan. I actually enjoyed the final five minutes of the race.

    Result: 10th.

I just don't get why no-one else had my understeer problems. I know it was caused by the fronts wearing faster than the rears and upsetting the balance, but I tried so hard to correct this with setup and it just didn't happen! I got this problem at every single race.

I understand that you are upset, but please don't start shouting in the chatbox during the race. You will understand that it's distracting for the drivers on track who are trying to concentrate. Since this is a first offence, I will not take any action. The same reprimand also goes for Angelo Silva who did the same thing.

Q was bad. I was in trouble anyhow for not practicing at all and all my time went into learning track with this car.
R 1st stint still learning and driving behind others plus staying out of trouble ( little far you came for that overtake @Joe Brown ;P ).

    I did the undercut

Had found some pace but didnt want to start racing hard so went for it.
Stop was fine until @Caitlin Penny parked car sideways in front of me. Took a moment to find reverse gear.

2nd stint i had found some pace then and was lapping 1.57's nonstop thus managed to undercut everyone except @Chris Belfield.
Found myself little faster too and specially my braking was maybe better but there wasnt really safe way thus bombing would have been kinda lame.
He held it together to the flag and no spot for me. Well done!

and finally @Michał Mazurek rock solid and untouchable. gz!

Maybe Michal wants to upload his Snetterton setup to "Car Setups" so you can have a look at it. The series is done anyway.

More a case of me trying to not hit you rather than trying to overtake you, Toni. :(
Good racing though, until Angelo started weaving down the straight and took me out. I don't know why people have to do that?

I enjoyed the series much more than I thought I would considering we were using a car that didn't like to accelerate, turn or stop. ;)

Sorry about the pit stop! There just wasn't enough space.
