Taken out in quali, and taken out twice in the first lap of the race.........come on guys, you can’t win a race in the first corners! Hope the driving standards improve before the next race

 

Enjoyed the race, was pretty clean for me, but I was miffed to find out theres an endurance pack in the car selection screen which I didnt install so I had to stop for fuel Oh well, I will know for next time. Happy with 4th, considering, but it was good racing and grats to the podium.

 

Wasn’t aware of the endurance pack myself Oli, should there have been an announcement about it?

 

Im not sure about an announcement - I only looked into it to see when the guys behind me pitted to get out in front of me but they didnt pit Then I remembered that in the 'Tuning' page on the car selection screen before you enter the server there are some cars that have different mods available and the Megannes have a 100L fuel tank 'Endurance' mod. Mine was set to 'Standard' for the race.

 

Maybe half the grid or so was unaware of this optional pack, would for sure used it if check it up before the race, pit stop never wins over lower fuel.
But race was fun and clean, my race pace turned out bit better than expected.

 

Same for me. After two incidents (havent seen the repaly yet), i put myself to the work and manage to have a good pace wich took me to the front of race almost getting 2nd and 3rd place.
Then i went to pit for fuel cause i did the maximum (50L as far as i can remember) and tires too. That took me so much time and when i got back to race i was in 11º so very far from everyone.
I realised there i did something wrong....
Despite that, first half of the race was great

 

44 liters, and tyres is something like 50 seconds, 100 liters and faster tyre change in endurance config (5/single bolt wheels). Since not mention I assume it's "free" choice but practical there is only one choice, I would prefer standard mandatory over endurance.

 

No grip at all, should have done my setup on server instead of offline. No fun so I ESC, sorry guys.

 

I tested with endurance pack. 45 liters and tyres=37 seconds. It was (if I remember right) 18 tyres and 19 fuel.
I pitted for tyres. Get some very nasty flat spots in first half or race and my driving wheel was shaking pretty bad.

 

My tactic should have worked if the dog did not jump into my seat and on my lap. Crashed into the wall, severe damage was so bad, that i had to make a 2 minute repair stop. Otherwise i had fun, from qualifying 4th to moving up to 2th position for the first few laps. I had 84 liters onboard, went for a 2 stop strategie. first stop only front tyres, and second stop all tyres. I really hate to drive on worn tyres, so for me it was the only option. Glad i joined, i had fun during the whole race.
