Please test if you can get on the server a few days prior to the race.

We will do a full formation lap.
The event is 60 minutes + 3 minutes formation lap = 63 minutes.

For the Howston Group 6 we are using the 65 version.

I've never raced rF2 before and it all seems very unfamiliar to me but from my offline testing the Lola feels great. Just joined the server and all seems well so I'll probably register for this one and give it a try. I'll be treating it as a test event so my aim is to just finish the race.

Great, we need a few more members to join. This car / track combo is 10 / 10.

If I put the '69 engine into the '65 chassis and slip the scrutineers a monkey. I'm sure no one will notice ;)

As good an opportunity as ever to install rF2 again. :)
And if you're going to re-install rF2, also consider joining the Endurance Racing League. We're packing big grids and the cars are fantastic. You do have to buy a few DLC's though.
Next Special event is Daytona in preparation of a full series.

rF2 has the best FFB of all sims IMO and that of many others.

Agree. The FFB is the better out of AC and ACC imo. AMS1 runs rf2 closely though so looking forward to feel the FFB in the release version of AMS2. rFactor2 is the best sim imo. :)

    Double agree.
But you have to use mods that can make the most of the rF2 physics. That's why I mainly stick to the S397 cars.

I’ve contacted rf2 as my login no longer works (old email address) but if they sort me out I’ll give it another try. But now can’t make Saturdays race anyway as I’m out.
ps is VR any good in RF2 ?

If someone could help me out. The Lola. I've downloaded it and I get _MACOSX folder and Lola T280.rfcmp. Where do these go in the rFactor 2 folder? If anyone can help me.

Throw the .rfcmp file in the packages folder within your rf2 install.
Start rf2 launcher, click packages icon (open box) find the Lola (sort columns by 'installed' is easiest to find it).
Click it, click install at bottom.

    Howston car select
(sorry for the typo error in post 1 where it said 1968. It did say correct 1965 in the event notes)

Howston drivers ... please make sure you are in the right car model: 1965
    Select the Howston
    Go to "Tuning"
    And choose model 1965

We start by formationlap, so be sure to calculate that in your fuelload.

(There is a great power difference between the models)
