Ok I see, that's not "normal" behavior Might not be the case here, but if you have/had any "mod" file in your system using the workshop item, rF2 will keep the items even if you unsubscribe. Then you need to uninstall the mod (session) package, restart rF2 and all files is normally gone. It's the same behavior when an resource is updated, if you have any "mod" file using the older content, previous version is kept until mod is uninstalled.
As I remember I joined the server earlier in the week and it had ABS/TC both on low, so that is what I practiced. But what you saying makes sense. And ditto on that other stuff, I try to setup the cars without ABS/TC, then add them in later. Some guys have them turned up a lot.
Apologies for the confusion about mandatory tyre changes in this race. Our generous series sponsor had asked for a 4-tyre mandatory tyre stop to be part of this series, but yours truly forgot to include that detail in the series information. All remaining races in this series will include the requirement for everybody to stop and change 4 tyres during the race, but the timing of the stop is at your discretion and can therefore be taken anytime from the start of the race to the end of the race.
I was looking at the telem, I remember hitting the 'rear flap' button a hundred times, and on the telem it shows it never changed position. Did anyone else have an issue with this? Do you have to hit the release every DRS zone? If we're going to a mandatory stop, one may consider going to x2 tire wear?
Looking at what? In the race you must be within 1 sec of the car ahead at the detection zone for the following DRS zone, for the DRS to work. In practice and qual DRS can be used anywhere. This is the way rF2 has been configured within the program code and is not an SRO server setting.
OK I was looking at the rear flap position on Motec. I didn't know it was a DRS setting, I thought it was a rear flap. In rF2, while driving it sayes on the dash that DRS is enabled, so I kept hitting the control button for it. I didn't know that you had to be 1 sec or closer behind, that is F1 rules. I didn't know those were the rules. Thanks.
