Welcome to the Bahrain GP The Bahrain International Circuit is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series and the annual Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East. Beginning in 2006, Australian V8 Supercars raced at the BIC, with the event known as the Desert 400. However, the V8 Supercars did not return for the 2011 V8 Supercar season. 24 Hour endurance races are also hosted at BIC. The circuit has a FIA Grade 1 license.
Formula SimRacing 2019 class change The ACA class in the Formula SimRacing 2019 can hold only 85 liters of fuel. Not enough for 1 hour racing. So within the sim, we have changed to the class: World Championship that can hold 141 liters.
Sorry for the wonky rejoin. The initial contact wasn't my fault though. That really sucks, because I really feel that I could have won that race. Oh well. There's always next time.
Good fun this race and managed to get up to 3rd which I thought I could hold with only 6 minutes left but engine blew at that point. I was dabbling with extra boost on a few laps but not much so was surprised, maybe I was a bit too heavy on the downshifts as well.. grats Podium
Q blew engine up so wasnt optimal R 1st lap incidents, which i rather not comment atm, made me lose front wing and some other aerodamage was done + tilted wheel. Took a long time take the car to the pits for repairs. Everything else was fine but it left me that tilted wheel for rest of the race. Allmost esced out but decided to finish for practice, which i dont have enough for this mod, if nothing else. Took a few laps to adjust to wheel but then had maybe best run ive had whole year. Specially my 2nd stint, concidering steering issue, was outstandingly satisfying for me. Finishing 3rd which is really great for series as a whole. Found out in my practice session allready that these cars dont take any hits at all so pls drive accordingly. Gz Phil!! Gz Scott!!
Good race Oli. I think I was high boost all race until I thought fuel would be tight, just as I noticed Toni 12 sec behind and clawing big chunks of time...and then last lap I noticed Phil was saving way more than I. Nice save Phil, looks like we both barely finished!
Well, if the fault is mine, I am sorry... If you look at the replay from my perpective you'll se that i never saw you beside me.
Phil Pitzer went through without stopping for the win. Very clever and good tire preservation. Grats Phil, well done.
