I knew this gonna be fantastic but it was 10 times more fun that I expected, and what a great replay we get, so good looking grid & battles. Thanks racers, JdG & Caitlin.

but considering change aswell as i dont like that porsche....its stupid and silly and too easy to break into corners and make it fly!

 

I just pick a car "Cortina" since no one have pick that, I wonder why , to have more variety of cars in track and I didn't like it at all so I will change for the next races.

My race was horrible, start good avoid almost all spinning cars on race start, but I was playing with G25 H shift and discover that there's something wrong with the 4th gear that have some bad contact and went to N and make me do some mistakes and break my gearbox after a few laps . I need to fix that before next one, I don't like to drive this cars with shifts even if those are quicker it loose all the nostalgic and realism.

I also want to apology to that Hillman that I punch on T1, sorry mate

 

Thanks guys, very clean driving by everyone! I enjoyed that one, except for the few mistakes I did. Pretty similar speed in the top 5 and I am looking forward to the next race!

I also had this problem throughout the race (6 or 7 times !!) each time in neutral, and red zone !!
I already intervened on the lever of my g27 1 year ago for similar problems, the contacts inside are bad.
Maybe time to change it ... but strangely enough I did not find any problem on RF2 ... weird

 

And it happened,
debut in Assetto Corsa was successful - I reached the finish in one piece.

Choosing a car is Alfa GTA because at the moment no one bet on it (with the rest, I thought others were already taken) no matter.
These cars are very uneven, so I have two crazy suggestions

1. As a reward, for the winner and his colleagues on the podium, in the next race a Mini Cooper ride.
The winners from the next races will also have the pleasure of riding a Mini Cooper, and those from the previous race who may not be able to climb to the podium riding the Mini will return to their original choices.

2. For each subsequent track, a different car

 

Yes, the idea of punishing (or not) the winner with the mini for the next race is excellent.
But, no change apart from that ...

 

I'm going to change cars for the rest of the season - I really like the A110, but having seen the broadcast it's clear that the issue is the wheels don't return to the centre after going to full lock left or right. IIRC I had the wheel centred when this happened:

Not sure what I'll replace it with, I'll have to double check the rest of the cars again.

 

I can understand one car change because we didn't do test race for this series, but changing car for every track means that this is not championship series anymore but just series of races with TC cars. It also means that JdV need to extra work setting server for every race so thats not going to happen. My fellow Finn Mr. Talvitie have seen in Mini factory, signing contract for rest of season perhaps....

 

Sorry to bring the mood down slightly but What happens to the guy who rammed me off in the early laps? Do the mods punish him automatically or do I have to find the culprit and report him somewhere? It was a hard impact that cost me about 10 places . I find if things like that go unpunished you tend to see a lot more of it happening in the series.

A series can be what ever we make. I have race in series where we had to change cars every race and it was very enjoyable. That's the beauty of sim racing we can do things that wont happen in the real world. With these multiple car grids it can be great to try out different cars during a series

 

Yeah, I know, I just personally like that some cars shine on certain tracks and totally sucks on others. Keeping same car also gives some time to do other things than do bloody testing all day long to get best car for every track and so on, also nice thing 'bout sim racing is that you get close to real without you have to sell/mortage your house bi-weekly or more often...

 

I would be happy to take the mini for next round, although the version in this mod is quite flawed.
