Welcome to round 2 Autodromo di Imola

The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari is a race track near the Italian town of Imola, 40 kilometres (24.9 mi) east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari, and his son, Alfredo Ferrari, who died in 1956 at age 24. The circuit has a FIA Grade One license.

It was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix. For many years, two Grands Prix were held in Italy every year, so the race held at Imola was named after the nearby state. It also hosted the 1980 Italian Grand Prix, the Italian Grand Prix usually takes place at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. When Formula One visits Imola, it is seen as the home circuit of Scuderia Ferrari, and masses of supporters come out to support the local team.

Some drivers get an error message when logging on to the server.
If you are one of those drivers, apply the following solution:

To overcome the problem:
- when you get the error message; click the OK button in the message box. You'll see that your car has turned in a yellow box car...
- then select another car. Then, If you like, select back to your original car and all should be good.
(Best start with the car you don't want and then you have te re-select only once)

 

Formation lap procedure

How does each race start?
1. The race starts by a formation lap on the speed limiter.
2. The formation lap is done double file
3. Green flag for each class polesitter when crossing the start / finish line.

 

The green flag at the start / finish line only for the pole sitter. Once he goes, all go.
Good idea of the speed limiter. We will do the formation lap on the speed limiter.

Does that happen every time? Does it work on a second try? You did get in eventually, you said.

 

Shame. Last time all drivers got on.

 

Server seems to be missing ? cant find it now … its not listed in live timing either ..?
