Welcome to round 3 Buddh International Circuit

The Buddh International Circuit is an Indian motor racing circuit situated in Delhi NCR at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The track shares its name with Gautama Buddha, as does the district the track is located in.

The track was officially inaugurated on 18 October 2011. The 5.14 km long circuit was designed by German architect and racetrack designer Hermann Tilke.

The circuit was best known as the venue for the annual Formula One Indian Grand Prix, which was first hosted in October 2011. However, the Grand Prix was suspended for 2014 and subsequently cancelled due to a tax dispute with the Uttar Pradesh government.

Some drivers get an error message when logging on to the server.
If you are one of those drivers, apply the following solution:

    To overcome the problem:
    - when you get the error message; click the OK button in the message box. You'll see that your car has turned in a yellow box car...
    - then select another car. Then, If you like, select back to your original car and all should be good.
(Best start with the car you don't want and then you have te re-select only once)

    Formation lap procedure

    How does each race start?
    1. The race starts by a formation lap.
    2. The formation lap is done double file
    3. Green flag for each class polesitter when crossing the start / finish line.

    No-shows

Please unregister for the race if you are not going to do the event. We had no less than 8 no-shows for Imola.
I would like to keep the list accurate for those people that are driving, so they know what the score is for signups.

Beware for the Buddh sinkhole, last corner between track and pitlane... It will put you in the pits (like the old LeMans track)

Really looking forward to this round. The GT2's are going to be able to stretch their legs, making lappery simple. Loving this calendar.

    Hi
I am hoping some one can point me in the right direction to solving my problems with the Corvette CR6RGT2 2009 and getting on line. When I checked the file it is missing from my package folder but in the workshop it says I have subscribed to it. The file name: ISI_Corvette_C6RGT2_2009, is not there in the package folder.
In fact there are no ISI cars in the package folder, yet they show up in the rFactor2 Launchers, content folder. I must have moved them but they are still registered.
I am not sure what to do first to get the Corvette reinstalled?
    Thanks
    Michael

Try to unregister for the Corvette and then start up rFactor 2.
    Close rFactor 2
Then register again for the Corvette and start rFactor 2 again
If it updates, you should be good.

Also make sure you don't have a custom skin package installed that ends with a "c" in the version number.
If you do, uninstall / delete it.

Can I throw in a suggestion for qualifying?
In a multi-class race (in this case with 3 classes) there will be speed difference between the classes, resulting in avoiding traffic during qualy for probably everyone.
RF2 offers the option for Private qualify. This means that all cars can qualify at the same time, but do not see each other. In a short period of time all can qualify with a clean lap without the need to avoid other cars.
All together is not a problem in single class events, but I believe for multi-class events the Private qualy options makes sense.

    Hi John
I have reviewed all the files for this series and used them off line and they all worked. I still get the notice that the .rfmod failed to load and I get booted. It suggests that I load it manually. Is there somewhere on the site where I can get it.

    Thanks

On the event page are all the files links you would need. They are all Steam workshop links, so there's nothing to download from our download section.

Did anyone else get the notification that .rfmod failed to load? What did you do to solve it?

This formation lap rule is not optional. Everyone is expected to execute it without exception.

If the pole sitter(s) brake the formation lap rule by not being on the speed limiter on the second to last corner and drives off into the distance, just let him and don't do the same.
This driver will be disqualified after the race for gaining an unfair advantage (unless they do a drive-through immediately to fix the time they've won) .

I will explain it again on the chat in warmup.

Default cars are not installed via the packages folder, which is only used for manual mod installs. ISI/S397 content is automatically installed by STEAM.

Try deleting the existing .rfmod file from the Content folder and then join the server again. It's not my series, but it sounds like maybe the server vmod file has possibly been rebuilt? That's the usual cause of this problem.

The vmod for the server has been rebuild. The server has been reset for "Private Qualifying".

That means you will only see your own car on track during qual and you won't be driving in traffic.
