Sorry to hear that. After chatting with you yesterday I figured that's what happened. Hope you can get that resolved soon. I got off to a good start but Chris got by me after a couple of laps. I then held onto second place until two laps remaining. Jens must have preserved his tires better. My car was understeering and I could not get through corners like he could so I had to settle for 3rd. It was fun and I enjoy these cars. Seems like Chris has mastered the Megane and is unstoppable Hope to see everyone at Barcelona. Take care, stay safe out there!
@Mark Hightree, good race today. I was a little surprised at the end result as the last time I looked you were still in second, Turn 2 was the tyre killer, what did you have left of the left front at the end, mine was 60%? I did notice that the server wasn’t as hard on the tyres as the offline track using identical setups.
I just went to download the track from the link, but it produces no downloadable content. I’ve pm’d Ken about the issue
I wasn't sure until I just checked the result file. My front L was 13% and right was 19%. No wonder my car would not turn. I was locking up my fronts too much. I should have adjusted brake bias.
I took it easy for the first half of the race, trying to look after the tyres. I then started to push a little more and slowly closed the gap to Jens/Mark, but then caught out by a 2nd track cut at the 1st fast chicane, which resulted in a D/T penalty. After serving that I was able to cut a 16-17 sec gap to them again, down to 8-9 secs. Without the D/T I may have had a chance of a podium....
