Because I like to race, I like to push.. and yesterday I didn't have a single lap without slower cars in front of me. The difference between the cars is too ridiculous imo. This is what Kimi had to do of course. Although I was a bit upset he pushed me in the wall in Monaco which hurt my race quite bad there as well and now being stuck while I wanted to fight for the win.

 

An incident will only be looked at if someone files a protest. Unless things have changed recently.

Don't quit the series man, it's just a fun one after all, I mean cars have so different paces, handlings, etc.. Do like me, just see it as a sum of fun events and forget points or any seriousness.
We all prefer you in than out.

Surely this is racing. The Merc was entitled to be there and put up a strong defensive drive. Having to work out the tactics to pass someone is the best part of racing imo. See .Phil's overtake on Bill (I think) great use of sacrificing the speed through one corner to allow greater speed through the next one. Think the mustang blasted past on the next straight mind you. This type of racing was all the rage back in the day. Ford Falcons vs mini vs ford cortinia. Excellent close racing. Better than a lonesome time at the front. Just my opinion having been stuck behind that bloody Merc for the first half of the race. Made my blood boil. Oh I see what you mean

 

Pretry sure you'll find John has won all of his series and all the upcoming ones as well

 

Can you switch the server to Willow Springs? I'd like some early practice online

For the race, BMW is extremly bad at standing starts. I qualified 10th but fell down to about 15th on start, and more importantly behind Bills mustang. Even though I was 2-3 seconds a lap faster, I just couldn't get passed it. I was around 8th place when I had a contact at t1 with someone, got stranded, lost 11 seconds and fell back to 15th. I stayed long on the track as others pitted or fell off, and was back up to around 7th or 8th when I pitted. And got out just behind Bill and his mustang. Spend the rest of the race behind him. Phil joined us a little later, but he didn't have much luck either and we had to settle to finishing behind.

 

Yep, it's got a very strange bite point on the clutch for some reason and it's easy to not find the perfect spot, especially when the 1st gear is too long with these gearsets anyway.

 

Congrats Lorenzo! Great fast racing by you. I couldn't catch up as you were too fast.

Yeah my race was stressful. I couldn't decide if I wanted Mexican or Chinese food for dinner. I almost crashed a few times wondering if I had guacamole in the fridge. Tough times for sure.

Heated moments happened in this race for a quite a few of you. More heated moments will come in future races. Just remember, have patience. Have fun.

 

I'm in the RX-3 which drives pretty much wherever it wants to regardless of what I ask of it. Going ot try and chill out the next couple of races as I expect that Willow springs is going to be an easy win for any of the cars that break the 200HP barrier. Mustang, Fairlane, 911, AMG 300, etc. No point trying to win what I know I can't - since its' touring cars. Have to play to what the car I'm driving is strong at. . . . . not that it's strong at anything. Q___Q

 

Well that's strange. I also drive the RX-3 and mine also wonders like she's high as the sky but yet I still finished 2nd. Hmmm. Maybe your NOS bottle wasn't hooked up correctly? Wait, your slicks were slightly used from a track day before so that's the reason you didn't come out on top.

I have missed this one again, unfortunately my personal life is a bit complicated at the moment, so i am missing the events.
i probably will come back at middle September, i dont know if i can make it at the last couple of races, so i will unregister myself and give the chance to someone else racing..
I am sorry about that, i didnt even fix my steering wheel, my life got a bit messy and trying to get things in order.
My choice if the car was a bad one, cant drive the escort with pad properly, i had to choose the hillman, its easier and i have plenty of fun with it..
I will try to make at the next race, but i have a question and a request to John. Is there a possibility to change my car and take the Hillman? I am surelly not a championship conteter, i believe there will be no problem to that. At least if there is a chance to get the Hillman, i will enjoy the last races a lot.. Thanks in advance..

 

Actually I didn't push you to wall at Monaco, we're side by side and you try to drive thru camera man which was solid who would knew that unless you try drive thru every object at circuit. I'm sooooo sorry that you get stuck in traffic after pitting and behind me after my stop and therefore ruined your race totally....

 

I won the only race I've started so far - In Monaco - but I also understand all the cars have places they're going to be weak and strong. Many of them have really poor differentials and the RX-3 is particularly bad in this regard. I don't understand why you're being mocking and antagonistic in your reply.
