The Big Problem with voting
Having just driven the awesome Bikerneiki track in the TCL series and the Horsma Trophy circuit in the GPL 67 series a while back I notice that only very well known tracks are in the list voted for in this series. I am worried that track voting may prevent us from discovering these great circuits as people tend to go for the well known tracks. If we vote for tracks on a series by series basis I am concerned we will get stuck on the same tracks. John maybe you can take 5 of the tracks voted for and introduce a less known track to each series.

I'm too late to put a vote in but I just wanted to say that Medowdale Raceway circuit looks *fantastic* !!! WOW! I'd never heard of it before but it looks totally mega!

 

I would like to ask that we maybe swap these circuits out - and if possible pick Vintage equivalents or similar vintage circuits that would suit the cars but have higher amounts of grid slots?

For example there is a *vintage* layout of the Nurburgring by William T Riker that includes 30 Pitboxes and the old First corner/Hairpin loop. This may both help with the race start - less accidents potentially than the more acute modern T1 - and has the correct grid slots and vintage feel. I highly recommend this and have done several dozen league races with various vintage leagues on this very circuit with no major bugs or issues. It also looks fantastic w/ CSP integrated into the mod

I know it may not be from the list provided at the top of the thread but it's a very high quality mod that works well and would fit the theme of the cars/championship very well, in my opinion.

Otherwise, from the current list I'd like Avus, Salzbergring or Hockenheim W/o Chicnaes/original long layout swapped in if they have enough grid slots - trying to keep with a more German theme.

 

Agree with all of these. The 1980's version of Hockenheim is also really good and has 28 slots (both the chicane and non-chicane versions). Would also like to suggest Imola 72 which has 32 slots and is a lot of fun. Might be a bit too fast for these cars though.

 

Never mind. It only has 21 slots.

 

These files work fine with server manager.
It creates a new track, eg Brands Hatch OSRW

You obviously have to select the additional track rather than the standard Brands Hatch track

Ran the OSRW tracks many times online without any issues.

 

The modern Nordschleife is way better than this track. This track is not that good compared. The modern track is pretty much the same as it was back in the day anyhow. Please keep to the modern one as voted for. If you are going to ignore the voters then what is the point of taking time to vote. I vote a big fat no.

 

He specifically said it's because the modern version didn't have enough pit slots.

 

Shame but I guess if we get more than 24 drivers it would be a greater shame to lose them. I guess you need to go to the next tracks in the list as voted for by the league.

I've used them before and the OSRW expansions work great. No idea why the Imola one would be missing off the download page; and I don't currently have it installed so couldn't provide it myself, unfortunately.

 

Yep, like the Andrew said those osrw tracks should work fine. At least they have work in other leagues.
