    If you want a skin for your car, this is how you get it:

    Don't post it on the forum, because I might miss it.

    Click on my name in the avatar and send me a mail with:
    1) the car
    2) the skin nr.
    3) your GUID info

    Found out that the Marod Scream lifts like crazy over humps.

    Also, are you sure about the K2 Mark? It's dog slow (that's why I'm taking it). At Brands it's mid pack in Group 2 :confused: All Grp 1's are about a second down the road, the gap only grows on faster tracks.

    Although to be fair, if everyone picks Porsches I can take an M1 ( :cool: ) or Toyota then to be different.

    hmm, didnt know that. Didnt want to take a class 1 car as nobody else did. Was going to take a Lancia but several already and only other car i like is too slow (the feisty BMW). If i do take a class 1 it'll be a toss up between the beautiful M1 or the Porsche but dont want an unfair advantage.

    In class 1 the K3 and Capri should be equally matched, with each car preferring different tracks. the M1, Toyota and Ferrari are pretty close behind in laptimes. K2 as I say is way back.
    On fast hi-speed tracks I would expect the K3 and M1 to be man of the match.
    Ferrari seems most planted aero wise, but pays at high speeds as a result, Toyota has great agility like the Ford but is slightly slower on twisty tracks.

    Don't worry about picking a faster car over me, I wanted the challenge - as said I'll only change car if most of the grid ends up in Porsches, and that's purely to give some variety.
    Be aware the M1 still doesn't like bumps, although it's mile better than before.

    I've just re-read this - you know that you've registered to drive class 1's? Currently we're nearly 50/50 on Class 1 and class 2 drivers.
    Also the K2 is a Class 1, and will still destroy the class 2 cars on most tracks that aren't Brands :)

    Server is up.
    What you need to do to enter the server

    1. Download and install the Real Skins patch: Real Skins Patch

    2. Download and install the Real Names patch: Real Names Patch
    Be sure to install the correct version as shown below or you will get a checksum error:
    (unpack the files and overwrite the original files in your "content/cars" folder)

    Once everybody has selected their car / skin on the list, I will assign the skins to their driver.

    Note: Real Names Patch does not work in "Live Timing".

    This might cause some issues for the people who have picked variants other than 1 John, as they won't be able to create or work on their setups on the server.
    The game sees each variant as a different car, and they seem to have slightly different physics too based on my inability to make the 2 versions of the 1H handle the same or achieve the same times when I share a setup between them.
    If you bin the 2002 from the server (I'll be amazed if someone picks it) then you'll have an extra 3 slots available which will help a little

    If you're assigning cars to people on the practice server as they update you than no problems, as they'll be in the car they intend to race.

    I can put all the different versions on the server once, but not twice. That's why. I will take another look without the 2002's.
