Think its a default track but not sure as I can't remember which is DLC and which is default! Will the server not let you on? Does it flag up when joining the server? It will tell you if you don't have the track.
A late dinner scuppered my pre race warmup and most of qually. Joined with only 3mins remaining and put it 5th on the grid. Had two strategies lined up and wasn’t sure which to go for, opted for mediums and no stop as just wasn’t sure I could pull enough of a gap on softs to make it worthwhile. Race start was torrid on cold med tyres and I lost 2-3 places over the first laps. Once I got heat in them I could get back past and enjoyed a very long fight with Tudor glued to his bumper for many laps. After about half hour he finally cracked at T1 and I was past into 4th place Toni pitted late and I was upto 3rd for quite a while with a 15 sec cushion but as my old tyres turned yellow he clawed back the deficit on fresh boots and we enjoyed a good couple of laps battling. But I had no real defence with no grip and he took 3rd back with a few laps to go. He likes taking my podium positions Finished 4th. well done to Laurent with his amazing pace again, well deserved
Great battle with MJ. Side by side for most of lap 1 until he understeered deep into the double left and I was able to sneak through on the inside. Managed then to just about keep ahead for 25 minutes or so until he had a run on me up to T2 and was through. Could have happened a couple of times earlier tbh but appreciate the patience shown Was hoping you were on softs and would need a stop but as the minutes ticked by I realised you were just quicker Was half expecting a call this evening to go and pick up my mother from hospital, so when the call came I pulled over and parked it. Thanks to the admins for organizing the series and to those I raced with for some great racing. Congrats to Laurent for the series win
Had good race. New car for me and ha no clue about tyres and what not. I thought run with softs whole race. Little i knew. Last lap was saving fuel and shortshifting when noticed that car goes faster Had been punishing the engine for allmost full hour
You only pitted for fuel? Why not put new softs on as well? Shortshifting was faster? Haha, I haven't done that all season, I shifted pretty late when the engine got really whiny and loud
I noticed in pre-season testing that short shifting was quicker than revving the nuts off the Ferrari, however it's easy to fall out of the bottom of the rev range so the power/torque band must be pretty narrow. Made gear ratio selection very tricky.
