    Formation lap procedure

    How does each race start?
    1. The race starts by a formation lap
    2. From the second to last corner we go double file
    3. the overall pole-sitter stays ON THE SPEED-LIMITER from that moment on.
    4. Once the polesitter starts the race by crossing the start line, we all go and are free to race.

    Can you guys also test the "Race" session. When I advance to race by "next session" I always get a "connection lost"

    If more people have this issue, we'll have to change the track.
    It might have something to do whit the latest rFactor 2 update, because the track ran fine before. We could use Road America.

    On another note ... some Ferrari's now have their FOV BEHIND THE DRIVERS SEAT. And it doesn't go forward enough to the steering wheel anymore. You're like 2 meters away from it. Do other cars have that aswell. Nice update S307 :p

    Worked fine for me.
    I skipped until warmup-wait over the WU-Race was start without issue.

    John - I couldn't get on. Its got the wrong version of ferrari GTE. the rfcmp says it wants ferrari GTE 1.67.
    Latest Ferrari GTE is version 1.73

    We are having trouble getting the Ferrari updated. It stops at v1.67.
    When the problems are resolved, the server will go back up.

    For some reason the Ferrari GTE doesn't update on our server. So we have to buy it again. I'm waiting now for someone to put funds in our Steam wallet so we can buy it. I don't have access to that Steam account. It belongs to someone else. Hopefully the server will be up next Saturday. Meanwhile you'll have to practise off-line.

    I have made the decision to retire from long endurance racing as my body can no longer hack it. I could barely move away from the rig after the last race and I took a few days to recover suffering very high pain levels. It's just not worth me putting myself through it anymore. I also see there's red lit people wanting to race now so I shall stand aside and allow those people to enjoy this fantastic racing. Enjoy the rest of the series. :)

    Well I haven’t driven the Oreca in about a year but felt like a race tonight so thought I would at least try.

    Lap times were ok, managed to peg the gap with Eric for a while but I started to get sideways in some corners and he pulled away.

    I did awful in traffic, sometimes losing 10 seconds in a lap. Really need to work on that.

    Was going to be happy with a 4th place and relatively clean race but with two laps to go I had a sideways moment again and got stuck in a barrier mesh, tried to get out of it but couldn’t move. So the engine let go.

    Well done to the finishers. Not sure if I’ll do the next one, I’ll see how I do for time over the next few weeks.
