Very interesting setup for the Lancia. I was sort of matching your damper setup. And i was wondering about Camber but didnt want to completely change my suspension setup. Also that spring travel is intense.

 

In the setup page in the AC menu you have 3 choices - monitor, Oculus, and Open VR. Just pick open VR and see what happens

crikey 1:38's in Div 2 cars, looks like i'll be fighting you guys in my Div1.5 car Maybe we'll catch some of those tyre shredding Div 1 cars later in the race
Sector2 is evil on the rear tyres here, too many lateral g's for the old rubber

 

1:38 is only possible with maximum attack and only 3 rounds.
Handle the tires carefully and hope for others to make mistakes. I think the tires will destroy here after 45 minutes

Didn't have time to practice for the actual race, but this one I improved so the car runs better now and it has fuel load for the whole 1 hour race. I think this is a good base for any track, except gears. But that rear wing is not much needed here at Meadowdale since there's quite a lot of grip.

For some reason my car has the fake #11 JPS livery instead of the realistic one on the server? Not sure why but I had the same in the first round.

 

I may not be able to attend due to work-time constraints as I've been working from home on-call/contract due to COVID. Will do my best to attend but may have to miss out on this one and potentially Lauzitzring as my employer has me attempting to finish a product by months end here.

 

I'm going to be stuck at work, so I will miss this one.

 

Very sorry @John vd Geest but my shifter has broken and I'll have to drop from this race. Hopefully not the championship as I'm trying to get it sorted soon.

I'd like to apologise for starting the race. This track gave me huge CPU occupancy problems, but it only happened with a full server. I started the race at 800x600 resolution (at which point I had trouble pressing UI buttons ha ha), and things went smoothly for about 30 secs but then people started crashing and skipping around, and I couldn't tell if everyone else was lagging relative to me (in which case my computer was the culprit), or if only a few others were skipping around. In any case I'm pretty sure I participated in the mayhem (although I'm not even certain through my portable-camera-sized screen).

If I can voice an opinion about the track, I can't say I'd like to race here again, but not quite for the same reasons as Filip. Maybe it would be more accurate if I say I'd like to race here one day, but only if the track is fixed up performance-wise!

 

There was a lot of lag on the server in the first lap ... then i crashed Kimi who was standing across the track and the race was over for me quickly. Very disappointing because i was really looking forward to this one

I feel the same way. I was really working hard on this race and then CPU Occupancy and Black and White screen ended what chance i had of a good race. Gonna have to say this track is fun but it has a limit on how many people it can have in the server gonna need to optimize this track better imo.

 

Yeah i was experiencing CPU Occupancy issues and then people where drifting accross my screen in Quali. Then i got black and white screen for some odd reason maybe CM im looking into it now but completely destroyed two weeks of hard work... Thank you Toni for the setup help btw.

 

And Filip for the line advice.
