sorry, didnt get it why you reply to me. what has overly too slow div 1 cars and my race have anything to do with this.
im sorry half of div 1 atleast are utterly too slow and ruin, with certain factors, race of faster div 2 cars...on any track.

 

It's the latest stupid update to shaders patch/CM.
I completely wiped and re-installed AC last weekend because of it, I've gained a lot of FPS too as a result so won't be putting it back on in a hurry.

Worst part is that you can't just disable the new chat box - as that just turns off chat in the pits completely rather than giving you back the decent working version from Kunos.

I had a pretty rubbish race as I lost the rear a few times when the car balance shifted mid race, only positive is that with the pace of Filip and Matteo I'd have still finished 3rd without the spins anyway - so no real loss to me

Thank you! I've been trying to slowly improve all season. Can't practice before the races due to IRL work commitments and the BMW's a bit weaker than the Lancia in most corners, so, learning all the time. Happy with my first win. Sorry you and I didn't get a chance to fight for the win because of any damage you have had from that T1 scuffle. I hope I didn't pinch you down from the outside.

What a lucky escape through Turn 1 and into the lead! Every time I got out of pits during practice there was a lot of understeer which I counted in for the start. Immediately after the first complex of turns, I started pushing like crazy. Because I knew I had only that much time to try and build some gap on Matteo and Tim who were both very fast on track in general but also in top speed. Couldn't possibly pass for position so easy those fast cars here. Those first laps were my also personal bests by a couple of tenths, so the Toyota was a very good girl today. I expected it to be kind of fast only on these types of tight and twisty tracks. I see the race was pretty steady with gaps there. Mainly tried to figure out who will go where when I came about to lap them, so had a couple of misunderstandings in the process. Very tricky places to decide where to let someone go, I can tell that. I gave it all I've had and only started relaxing in the final laps, but that was a very lucky day today for me.

Congratulations Ted on a dominating win in division 2! And also Toni, Jos and Kiril who were fighting for those podium finishes. There were fights in division 2 that were awesome as I managed to catch a couple of those in the process.

Very annoying from the CSP 1.60 patch I think. Whole keyboard stops working but actually gets stuck in chat window/app somehow. I've had that on couple of occasions, at Meadowdale too. Just make sure wherever you are, in the garage or on track, that you clicked outside of the chat box. You can test it when you type in to name the setup, it will actually still type back into the chat window. Also, when on track, if you usually don't have chat open while racing and you have this problem that the keyboard is not working, open up chat app and click on it, then outside of it, then close it down.

Sorry if the quality isn't the best, my computer isn't super up to date and I'm constantly struggling for file size so I have to turn the quality down from Maximum by 1-2 steps.

What a dull boring slog that race was. Compounded by someone piling into us all at T1 - did they forget there was 20+ cars and a 90 degree corner?
Was 2nd from last after that and stuck behind all the div2 cars which were more nimble for half the lap. The K2 was a complete dog over the bumpy Tight turns 1-4 and I just couldn’t enjoy slogging it around this track. Had a long battle with Max’s Escort early on but lost so much time that I was about 10 secs behind the nearest car by the time I got past. Took most of the race to catch Mac Shepherd ahead then just as I got the bmw in my sights 3 secs ahead and closing, I got an exit spin at a corner that I had never come close to spinning at in any session. Summed up my night, rubbish. With nobody to race in a similar car there is not much point in me continuing this series. I get blown away by the Div1’s on power and then out handled/out braked by Div2’s on tight tracks. Will think on it.

 

At the Nurburgring you're going to be in a lot better shape, I feel. Lots of long flat out sections and it's a decently skill-capped circuit so you can probably find a slower driver in a faster car or a faster driver in a slower car to play with.

 

Really frustrating come on guys, after hundreds of laps with these cars you should know that the brakes and the tires on the first corner are cold! I hope someone took drive through there...
A few mistakes of mine during the race, as I expected, because I couldn't prepare enough for this race.

Wanted to ask since i was the lapped car you and Toni where trying to get around did you over rev the Lancia coming into that final corner?

 

Can we spot what's wrong with these photographs?

 

After watching your replay i saw that black Porsche come and disrupt the flow of that traffic and then the Capri at the bottom of the turn just couldnt turn. Im assuming locked brakes or whatever.
