Most of you probably have seen this already, but you can use it as a motivational video for tomorrow

 

That's the result of my training during these days

 

Just a reminder:

After looking at the lap tracker, there's the potential that some of the slower Divison 1 driver/car pairings are going to be near the front of the Div 2 field in terms of race pace. If you are in a slower Divison 1 car, please remember that it's a multi-class race, and you might be going around the circuit near a decently tight championship fight upfront in Div2. Just because your car is faster in a straight line, doesn't mean that if you then overtake a faster Div2 driver that you won't be slowing them down during the technical sections of the course and potentially interfering in their championship fight.

Please respect this whenever possible. You don't have to get out of the way necessarily, but not actively interfering if you can is a pretty massive display of sportsmanship and goes a long way towards making the league a better place to race.

 

Someone told me that this track is full of places where to overtake...

 

It is - but given that slower drivers in any class are generally less consistant and/or have considerably worse race craft it's down right scary trying to pass when you're in any car as you can never be sure they've seen you pull alongside under braking.
If you were fighting your championship rival would you want to be the first driver to try and get alongside someone who is 70% likely to just turn into you because they didn't check you were there, or would you take a gamble and let your rival have the accident instead?
There are some drivers I race against in a few leagues who seem to drive wearing blinkers - I'd probably let my arch-nemesis have the 1st go at the pass against them...

Or put it another way - if you have a badly damaged car and you're limping slowly home for points, are you going to race every car that catches you for no point other than to increase the risk of finally taking yourself out fully, or just let them go so you can finish intact?
Unless I felt I could hold a direct championship contender at bay until the flag then I'd just let the faster cars by as soon as I could do so safely.

A slow Grp1 car is as much of a shot duck here as a damaged car is somewhere else, so the point being made is simply 'don't be an arse' if you're caught by someone in a different class, especially if they are mid battle - if one car passes then help the 2nd by so you don't interrupt their fight..

Within your own class will be the big problem when racing against the 'other' type of car.
Matteo, Filip and Louis will all have much more nimble cars than me but are slower over a lap due to the insane power of the BMW.
I will be making my M1 as wide as possible for the 1st half lap or until I can clear some space around myself and scarper as a result

 

I think it's just going to be a little awkward, the slower Div1 cars and faster Div2 cars are going to be getting mixed up a lot, there'll have to be some courteous decisions being made or there will be accidents.

 

I can't think of anyone in this series who I consider un-courteous, the problem is the same as real life = skill levels & setups.
I marshalled for a good 10 years and watching front runners driving millimetres from each other in 5 way battles for the lead never lead to any work for me, when those groups caught back markers was when I earned my (no) pay

 

Throwing some "Big blues", I'm sure.

I was always incident, later rescue for a bit, so Blues were never 'work' for me - just cleaning up after the mistakes

Double-check the OSRW Pit expansion to see if you have it! We do have to have that to fit all the cars on the grid and that's the only thing I can think of.

As said, OSRW pit expansion PLUS did you install the Ford cars modif that has been implemented since a few races to fix the tire behaviour ?

Try asap mate, if it's not the cause of your problem you might loose some precious time to fix it.
