Could you reduce the ambient temp in the server settings (usually in the 30s) to increase the chance of rain (it is spa after all):cool:

Thought I was having a decent 1st ACC race especially since I hadn't done any wet driving...until I was told on the radio I somehow didnt take on the right amount of fuel in the pit..

edit: figured it out...That was fun and scary

Well that was fun to say the least.

Practice I spent trying to get pressures sorted, then quali came and I never got the tyres to work and never got a good run.

Now on to the race....well it was all going fine until it started raining and I wanted to give it more TC, however I hit ignition instead the the car died and I couldn't get it restarted on the move, had to stop in La Source and restart the car by which point I think I was last...waited till last minute to get wets and what I thought was enough fuel to last till the finish...Anyway seeing that it's become a Rally event I went back to my Richard Burns Rally days and it worked out quite well, except I ran out of fuel and had to pit I figured there was 5 laps left so left the tyres but on 40L of fuel as I had enough of a lead and figure to 2x that fuel you know just in case. Little did I know that I'd finish the race with 3L praying in that final lap that the pit guy will tell me "Final Lap" and he did...phew.

Great fun tonight in a challenging race. Held on with the wet tyres on the dry track at the end with just enough fuel to make it across the line having stopped much earlier than I wanted to take on wet tyres as the heavens opened. Loved the day night transition and the variable weather kept my brain thinking the whole way through the race. Couldn't see a thing behind Tim early on and was just a job to stay far enough back not to accidentally ram him in the spray.

Same thing happened to me man, but I think when we pit we still had like 70L and your tank can only take take 110-120L

Definetly a great race action today! Not the result for me, but man... It was first time for me: A 2h race; A night transition and changing weather conditions. So needless to say, I was totally overwhelmed by almost everything, go P1 after start, had nice battles and went back to P3 when the rain started then everything went wrong: Changed to wrong tires, speeding in the pitlane->SG30, crashed, repaired, crashed again, repaired again, had 50l of fuel in the tank in the end... So I can really say, everything which could possibly go wrong, went wrong ;) Although on the dry track i had some good pace and I was confident that I may be not the slowest out there. I was profen wrong ;)

@Andrew Williams: Sorry I lost the car once exactly when you were overtaking, this was really bad luck. I tried to stay super safe, when I saw GT3's in the back, but damn, it was just too wet for the dry tires that time...

No worries Christian. I tried to go around you but your car came back across the track and just tagged me. It happens :)

I was really looking forward to doing the longest race i would have ever done. Sounded like it was going to give the strategists an ice-cream headache. must have been fun.
