Hi mates, I would like to join tonight, but i cant get my problem solved: the tyre temperature. they are blue anyway. so my caterham is undriveable. my hotlaps at online timetrials are 1.26 1,27, because here you start with warm tyres. In races they are cold, i can only do a 1:32 . Lowering the tyre pressure didnt change anything. My question: is there a trick to keep the tyres warm? Second thing: is the server using real weather for 30. November? When i test with July weather, i have no problems. Thanks for your advices
The server race date is set to 30th Nov, but I'm not sure if PC2 also sets a typical temperature setting for this date or not. It could be based on what you've said Gerhard. I'll be on the server myself shortly (its now up) to do some testing.
Sorry guy´s this is just not for me, it´s just going from real bad to worse . So I unregister so you don´t have a moving chicane in every race. Congrats to all podium player , and to all that can handle those cars. Respect!
Without the multi-million bank account Never thought about that little trick instead of dealing with the tricky brake balance on this car
Sorry to see you were struggling with the car today Bjorn. They are definitely more difficult to get the best out of them compared to the BMW M1 we ran in the previous series. But I think I will have a perfect antidote for you with the next PC2 series which will start on 6th January, so keep an eye out for the announcement coming very soon
Very hard race, this car gives you not a single break. @ Ken: outstanding performance, you created a 10 sec pillow, after that you were just controlling the race, i am sure you could go faster! @ Scott: epic battle with you, it took me half an hour to close the gap of 2 sec! LOL. When overtaking you i had to take a lot of risk, my car was sliding through the chicane, i am still nervous about that. Thanks for the good and fair fight. @ Björn: dear mate, i hate that car too! (or is it a motorboat ?, behaves like that) but its all about the setup. your performance in the other pc2 series was great, we know you can handle it. If you like we could do a test day for the next race. PS Ken: please be very carefully choosing the next car. Including Rob we are moving to Nr 10 drivers for these series, not so bad. if you are not sure, lets do a voting. (but please without ballots and Dominion systems )
Hi I love and appreciate all you´r effort here. It might be that I´v done to much ACC this last months and very litte PC2 something I hadn´t done before BMW/Renault it really feels so floating now PC2. I´d like to feel some control off the car at least , and not loosing it all the time. See you all Thanks
Very nice to back with you guys Surprisingly I got some pace after a little tweaks, special to settle it down and be able to push it. Nice qualy very tight as usual and great race, this car gives you no break for sure. Smooth start to avoid every one, a little thru the grass after turn 1, be able to keep the 5th but could not avoid touch Brian turned around on the backend chicane, drop to last. After that was recovering all the way down, put some nice laps and able to catch Brian but the tires are not in good shape and I was push it to much so mistakes start to happen and end up in 5th.
As I hate to chicken out, I gave it another thought and if I signed up I better stick to it no matter what. So I register again , so you better look out for the moving chicane again
