    Welcome to the Malaysia S397 GT3 & GTE BOP Special Event

    This is a official BOP test event to see how the balance between the GT3 and GTE car packs have taken shape.
    Official means that this event affects rank.

    Cars taking part in this BOP special event are:

    DLC S397 GT3 Challengers pack:
    GT3 Aston Martin Vantage
    GT3 Audi R8 LMS
    GT3 BMW M6
    GT3 McLaren 720S
    GT3 Porsche 911 GT3R
    GT3 Ferrari 488 EVO 2020 (added)
    GT3 Bentley Continental (added)

    DLC S397 Endurance Pack GTE:

    I want to register, but it wants to know GTE or GT3 now?
    Since I am so slow, which F488 is faster?

    Both classes are running as a multiclass. GT3 and GTE and both score as 2 classes. So you can sign up for either one.
    The Ferrari GTE is probably faster if S397 did a correct Balance Of Performance.

    No Le Mans Aero Package

    In order for the BOP to work, the GTE class can not use their Le Mans Aero Package.

    Did you add the S397 GT3 Bentley and Ferrari to the Challengers pack?
    Those were added to the series.

    The same GT3 pack will be used for the Multiclass series per January 10.

    So I have this GT3 pack but since GT3 Bentley and Ferrari Evo came later, I'll have to purchase these separately? I'm being robbed! Just kidding/kind of. But in the name of racing, I will purchase these delightful vehicles.

    It's funny how I can spend $20 dollars on ONE meal that does me no good and gives me major calories but have a hard time pulling the trigger on two vehicle that will give me a blast for so many races and will cost me a little as $11 dollars. :eek:

    yeah, but still no where near the rip off that iRacing became for me before i gave up on it (due to their officious cut algorithms and forced viewpoints that were the cause of the cuts for me) rendering all my extra expenditures lost forever.

    Very good contemplation of DLC"s. That's how I see it too. You blow € 10 away on an inpuls Pizza and € 5 on drinks because you're too lazy to cook, but when it comes to investing in something lasting of the same prize that gives you fun for hours on end, people are reluctant ??!!

    maybe it's the challengers pack that's blocking me because I don't have the Radical 2020 included in it, but we don't need it ...
    when i bought the challengers pack it contained the 2017 Radical.

    so to compete in these races, do you need to buy the full packs or just the car you intend to race with? Im reluctant to chuck a load more money on a sim i've yet to use for an online race. My so far, very limited use of Rf2 hasnt exactly blown me away with its clunky old UI but do notice there is a lot of content for it.

    You should be not be on the old UI but on the new Beta UI through Steam. Let me know if you need help.



    Yes, you need all the GT3 cars that are on the list. Otherwise you'll get a server error. But this is not the only event we're doing with this (now 7 car) GT3 pack. We have used them many times for many series. Check out the new Multiclass series in this footnote with the Audi R15 / IMSA DPI / S397 GT3. It's a good investment. It will be used a lot, now and in the future.
